Tuscany Capital

Simply walking through the streets of the town transports you back into the past. This is a place that has remained intact, there is a genuineness to the city and its people, just as has been described by so many famous poets and writers.tuscany capital

Yesterday I showed you a smaller town in Tuscany, Vinci. Today we go bigger. This is why I want to first present photos from the distance and later on pick on the details, architecture and city spirit.

This city is the heart of Tuscany and the birthplace of Italian Renaissance. Still not sure which city it is?

I didn't want to post too many photos because then they will lose its charm. I hope to travel to this province again one day and take even better photos and look around. There are so many details I must have missed last time.

I will leave you with this lovely quote and show you more tomorrow :)

Sure, Florence is touristy. But where else can you stroll the same pedestrian streets walked by Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Botticelli while savoring the world's best gelato?

Beautiful city, it's even more appreciative when the time of build and development of the city is considered

I loved Florence! Full of art, beautiful architecture and cozy cafes. I stayed with couch surfer and he had a flat with the roof from where we could drink wine and watch all the florence highlights. Awww that was amazing!
