Street in the "Blue City" Chefchaouen, Morocco
The mountain village Chefchaouen in Morocco was shaped by Jewish and Muslim immigrants who were expelled from Andalucia in the late 15th century, so it comes to no surprise that the Medina has a Spanish touch. Nowadays, it is most famous for its blue houses, but in fact, the blue paint has been added more recently.
