Old Things Create New Memories

Hello everyone , I chanced upon these photos that my friend had taken when we visited her in Cebu last year .
She was very generous in accompanying us around Cebu for 5 days . We were grateful for her generosity
She took us to visit a famous ancestral home in Cebu . This house showcased many antique silverwares and furnitures .

When you stepped inside the house you will be transported back to exactly a century old past .
This typewriter caught my attention .It reminds me how our ancestors write letters.

I see old things all around me yet it is creating new memories for me and especially with my kids because they were able to see what our ancestors were using during the 1900s

I find this ironic that the clock and the typewriter were placed side by side as if telling us that when we write down our thoughts and reminisce through time , it will create timeless memories worth keeping for a lifetime
