The Mamounia, the Arabian nights experience in Marrakech

The Mamounia is probably as famous in Marrakech as the Medina or the Souks district. It is as if this 5-star palace was part of the Moroccan heritage. Despite its 90 spring this year, the Mamounia Hotel has not taken a ride and is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful palaces in the city. After its 4th renovation, the Mamounia Hotel is prettier, intoxicating and welcoming than ever.

Here everything is luxurious, calm and voluptuous, one hears the water flowing peacefully, the little birds singing in the morning at sunrise, the wind blowing delicately in the trees. This haven of peace is one of the most relaxing places I have stayed so far. A legendary place with a spectacular view of the Atlas and I had the chance to see the snowy mountains (this time) on a blue sky blue background, it was just beautiful.

The gardens of Mamounia are a veritable green setting where you can take the freedom to walk and enjoy every corner, sit down to read a book or just dream. It is composed of fruit trees, seasonal flowers, palm trees, centuries-old olive trees or prickly pears (one of my favorite perfumes) ... Here a delicious fragrance blends our spirit and Freshness that one can only appreciate. Walking in this park is a parenthesis away from everything I particularly enjoyed.

Located a few minutes walk from the Place Jemaa el-Fna, the Mamounia is close to the heart of the city. You can walk around without having to take the taxi and it's pretty handy! Me who loves to walk for hours is a very good point! The airport is barely 10 minutes by car.

The buffet is served in the morning from 7am and is delicious and offers a wide choice of sweet and savory dishes, Viennese pastries, homemade granola, fresh fruit juices and Moroccan specialties, all served with a smile. I will always remember this delicious almond milk flavored with orange blossom served with fresh dates when I arrived at the hotel. The must, a simple pleasure more than appreciable. All the palaces do not!

The hotel is composed of 207 rooms, between classic rooms, deluxe, suites and riads, all equally nicely decorated in a style combining modernity and Moroccan tradition. The marriage of the two is perfectly successful and it feels like home. Usually I've already told you here, I do not particularly like big hotels, but here I was rather surprised at the layout of the rooms which preserves the privacy of each one of them. I was rather surprised when I was told the number of rooms, I would not have believed it.

And for those who can not stay in the Mamounia Hotel, know that the palace offers the "Relax Pass" which offers you the space of a day (Monday to Sunday) the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful place and To take for a princess, the space of a day. For 150 € per person, you can enjoy a relaxing "La Mamounia" massage of 60 minutes or a hammam of the same duration, followed by a lunch in one of their restaurants and access to the shed In shape, tennis courts and the best, to the 2 beautiful swimming pools of the hotel.
