Mini Getaway to Hawaii with my Hubby
My then fiancé, now husband, and I traveled to Hawaii for the first time way back in 2015. Feels like an eternity ago! We had been dating for about two years and got invited to a friends wedding in Oahu, Hawaii. How could we pass up an offer like that?! Our friends wedding was beautiful as you can imagine. We stayed a few extra days to enjoy all that Hawaii had to offer. Well actually we only got to do a few things because the experiences are endless on such a breathtaking island.
The picture below is of us at a luau. If you go to Hawaii, you must attend a luau. It showcases all of Hawaii’s culture in a unique way. It’s about 2-3 hours long and comes with dinner and live shows. There’s also different stations to take pictures with tropical birds. We may look calm in the picture, but we were actually kinda scared at first. The birds ended up being super friendly and very well trained. Hopefully they are treated right to be in such good behavior. Anyways, it was the first time I had a bird that close to me. We will definitely return to Hawaii to explore the other islands.
