Let's travel together - Cantacuzino castle! by @gabrielatravels! 100 STEEM!
Why? Because it looks professional and I believe it has some enduring value. If I were a traveler planning my trip to the Cantacuzino castle and I found this article on Google, I would definitely read it till the end. Last but not least, I think all of these pictures are super attractive and they make the reader feel good!

The castle is located in one of the most visited Romanian cities with a scenic and unique view of the mountains, on the street with the same name as the castle, and before becoming an important historical monument, it was just a home place for the royal Cantacuzino family.

Comparison 1964 vs 2006 Victoria Falls! by @joanstewart! 25 STEEM!
When I visit a new place I always try to imagine, how everything looked like and how people used to travel before the start of mass tourism. This is why Joan's article was extremely interesting to read. It's funny, but in 1964 my father was minus three years old. :D

December 1964 my Mom an avid traveler arranged a three-week train expedition (I can only refer to it as such, since who in their right mind takes four children 7, 9, 11 and 14 on self-catering holiday by train). Intense research I have since learned very few direct routes were available, what follows is the zigzag route (to the best of my memory and research)...

Trip Status #16: Barcelona! by @pushpedal! 15 STEEM!
What these guys did was absolutely unbelievable! Since the beginning of their adventure, they cycled for over 20 thousand kilometers. That's awesome! Keep up the good work you crazy people! :D Make sure you keep participating in these Travel writing contests!

We've arrived in Spain's Barcelona after cycling through the Mediterranean coast. We arrived on November 2nd after cycling a further 2,390 km, bringing our total to 20,815 km. Starting from the cheap Balkan countries, we headed west into the world of coffee, cheese, bread and croissants...

Khmerican Family Abroad - Suriname School Outtakes 🎬! by @justinparke! 5 STEEM!
Maybe I do not have as much time for Steemit and Travelfeed as I used to have, but I try to check out Justin's blog as often as possible. In my humble opinion, his blogs are exceptionaly well written and all the small visual details look super nice too! Thank you for sharing these special moments of your life!

My wife @sreypov and our two daughters @kidsisters are the first Cambodians to ever enter Suriname, at least that is what the Suriname Immigration Department told us as they were processing our residency visas. Now Sakada and Sakana are studying in the Suriname public school system, and a lot of memories are being made....

How Cheap is Cheap?- Vietnam! by @twokooksonevan
Most of you have already noticed that I like text more than I like pictures. This post has a perfect balance between those two. What is more, it has a clear topic and plenty of enduring value. Why it did not reach the 1st or 2nd place then? It's because it was not written using Travelfeed.io platform! However, not rewarding the writer for such an epic post at all would be a crime! Do not forget to use the platform in future!

Whenever a travel destination gets touted as “cheap”, the inevitable question gets asked: ok, but really… how cheap is “cheap”? Fret not, the Kooks are here to help you budget for your Vietnam trip by letting you know just how cheap “cheap” it really is...

WHAT IS TRAVELFEED.IO?

Travelfeed.io is a global community of independent travelers, where it’s easy to meet new people and find information, and where bloggers can monetize high-quality posts. One of the reasons why I believe in this project so much is the team behind it. These guys are passionate travelers and travel bloggers themselves.

For example, Jürgen Horn @for91days has been making a living as a travel blogger for over 10 years and knows the industry in and out. The content is manually curated by @smeralda and @elsaenroute. Discord community is moderated by @wanderlass and Steemitworldmap-curator @livinguktaiwan. The main developer behind this project is Julian Peters @jpphotography. He is a full-stack developer and budget traveler.

What happened in my life since the last contest? :D

As some of you already know, my wife @kamile and I will become Mom and Dad at the end of January 2020. What can I say? My wife's belly is getting huge and our daughter is kicking very hard indeed! I believe she got her temper from her mother's lineage. :D

For quite a while now I've been working at a reinforced concrete factory. The last two months were extremely busy as it is a relatively young company having all kinds of errors in all fields possible, but now it looks like the hard days are over and everything is running smoothly again.

Two days ago I had a conversation with my employer. Working for this company during its hardest times was definitely a great experience indeed, but all things considered, I decided to say Good-Bye to my good old team and look for other alternatives.

What am I going to do next? If nothing changes, my last day at work should be the 3rd of January. I have two weeks to consider all the options. I can see only two possibilities: starting something of my own or finding another job in some other company. However, there are some things I would like to do before doing that.

Tautvydas Slevas and Kamile Joksaite Sleviene on Mount Nebo.jpg

Fist of all, my dad and I plan to spend a week in Jordan or to have a road trip to the mountains of Ukraine. If we choose Jordan over Ukraine, it would be my second time in this magnificent country and I would have enough time to gather all the info needed for organizing the third trip. This time for a group of tourists maybe.

Secondly, I would like to spend a couple of days at my Grandmother's house. She passed away three years ago but nobody had time to do any repair work since then. What is more, her place is like a museum - full of old books and letters, photos and furniture, made by my grandfather 40 years ago. All of it has to be sorted and taken care of. Otherwise, time will destroy it all.

I know one thing for sure, I will do whatever I can to get more involved in Travelfeed's activities, promote the platform and write for my Travelfeed.io blog at least on a weekly basis. Finally, if Julian and Jürgen will need some help I will do whatever is needed to help these guys. This is how I believe in success of Travelfeed.io.

Yours,

Tautvydas! (Tot)

Great to hear from you again man and so much has happened in your life in these last couple of months! Wishing you and @kamile all the best for the end of January! I know something will fall in to place with you regarding the job and you'll have learnt a lot over the last few months in your job you're moving on from!

Congratulations to my little Romanian sister @gabrielatravels for winning the last contest! A very worthy winner and great to see her getting the recognition she deserves for producing high quality travel content for as long as I've known her on the platform!

As for this contest, it's like we're on the same wavelength all the time as I just posted my latest travel blog at the same time you posted this blog! So here's my entry:

It is always a pleasure to find my content awarded and acknowledged in your Travel Contests. Keep up the good work!
