Bone Chapel , yes the walls are covered in real human bones - Evora, Portugal
Fortunately there aren't that many chapels in the world that used bones to create "wallpapers" , but as creepy as they are they are sort of unique.
All the bones you see in the walls are of real human bones embedded in the walls centuries ago.
All photos were taken in the Bones Chapel ( What else would they name it? ) in Évora, Portugal in this summer.

Sorry for the low quality on some of the pictures, light was dim, no flash allowed and not best of cameras.
And on the Entrance one can read ( It's in Portuguese so I will try to create a translation to how one might read it English)

Sim , é uma frase um tanto ou quanto macabra, mas interessante.
Já não ia lá há bastante tempo, e é uma parvoíce , visto que eu sou de Évora, apesar de já não viver lá, continuo a lá ir, mas este verão decidi lá ir revisitar a capela dos ossos, aproveitei também para ir a uma exposição de presépios muito engraçada que estava na igreja de S. Francisco, que oportunamente colocarei aqui
Que engraçado, e eu sendo natural de Leiria (arredores) agora moro em Évora! Ficas a saber que existem pelo menos 2 steemianos nesta cidade, eu e o @rmach (meu namorado).
Uns vão para Sul, outros para Norte, ironia desgraçada dado que eu vim para Coimbra, nao calhou a ser leiria, também quero ver se convenço a namorada (também de evora, e agora em Coimbra) a integrar-se aqui.
O @rmach também chegou aqui um par de meses antes de mim, e eu também não percebia porque é que ele gostava tanto disto! Pois, pois, dá-lhe tempo ;)
