Going to the sea, step by step at first, not seeing it but knowing for sure it was the right direction. The forest gave way to the white, desert-like mountains of white sand announcing the approach of the sea. Then came the sound of the waves mixed with another sound, too familiar, not at all expected in that place. The sound of those long rooting plants that grow near the sea performing the song of the grass-- renewing its vows of obedience towards the wind.

I paused for a while to admire the landscape then, when I saw the water, I rushed to meet it, knowing, but not caring, that the Mediterranean is always freezing in this time of the year. Afraid of changing my mind once I touch the water, I shut off every sense of temperature and started unclothing and running until I was swimming in the deep angry water that was trying to kick me out with its violent waves. I met these waves the way a lover meets his angry girlfriend. Avoiding some attacks, receiving some others, pretending they don't hurt or overreacting sometimes to make her feel guilty. What a fun game it was, while it lasted. In the end I got tired before she did, so I surrendered to her and let her carry me out of her bedchamber.

Date: 1&2 October 2018.
Place: Wed Abid, Nabeul, Tunisia.
Event: A camp with a few friends and a bunch of once-strangers.

This story above was not recorded, maybe because I was all alone at that time and I was more concerned about having fun than about proving I had fun. Some other "stories" were recorded though. I'll leave you with these teasers until I get to post a video about it (to satisfy my friend @nikolina as I have just satisfied @calluna by writing this :) )

You gotta watch this! This is one of the most famous Tunisian Video clips, and it was filmed in Wed Abid!
They say the abandoned building in Wed Abid used to be a factory that produces beer :D (which means those silos were once full of bear! can you imagine?... ok or maybe just raw materials don't get too excited lol) but that's not a relevant information I guess lol
