The World Famous Beach Boardwalk
The Boardwalk is unique. Free to enter. Walk straight from the beach onto the rides.
They allow open containers, play music, and have a vintage feel. This is an old style amusement park, modified for the times.
Katie and I only spent $14 and had a ton of fun.
This is the entrance. All glitzy. They re-did it for the movie "Chasing Mavericks" a few years back.

This shot is from across the water after the beach was flooded.
My favorite ride on a hot day is the log ride. We splash water and try to get as wet as possible. 
I call my cousin Strong Beard. He is kind of a goofball as you can see. My wife Katie is sitting right behind me smiling huge like always. 
I also love the views from the log ride. You can see all of Santa Cruz from up there.
Then my next favorite ride is the sky tram. It's just fun to float above everyone and take in the view. Plus these things look so cool and vintage. They're a stark contrast to the blues sky.

I love finding cool spots to have fun at, that don't break the bank! I find that these types of spots foster up experiences that allow you appreciate the people your with, compared to the what your doing.
The log ride looked like a ton of fun, and I love that fact that you always where that hat haha
Yea, my cousin was funny about my hat.
He was like, "You really don't give a F@#K huh? That hat makes you seem like you've seen some stuff."

nice amusement park seems many people enjoy their life in summer:) did you go to a beach after?
Yes, we went and walked around in the sand. There is a great path along the cliffs near there also.
