Captivating Clovelly
Clovelly High Street
Clovelly is one of the best known and most unusual villages in North Devon, England. It's also one of may favourite places to visit there.
You have to park at the top of the hill next to the Heritage Centre as no vehicles are allowed in the high street. Even the locals have to use other means to take their provisions down the hill. The favourite way is by sledge. You can see these parked at the side of the traditional 16th century whitewashed cottages.
The walk down to the harbour is half a mile with a 400 feet drop.
From there you can continue past the pub and up the tarmacked road. As you can imagine it is a very steep return and not for the faint hearted!

The main reason my payouts have doubled is because I was using upvotewhale, $1 per post recently. But I read an article saying that I was actually losing money by using them. Something to do with curation I was taking into account.
I don't understand it because, as you say, it looks good. Presumably I would have more SBD if I'd not used it even though the posts would have paid out less.
Anyway, I've stopped using it now and my predicted payouts have gone back down.
I was on a bit of a roll when I was using upvotewhale and felt like I was getting somewhere which inspired me to post. Now I've lost the impetus again.
As you can tell I'm in a poor me, whiny sort of phase. Not one I'm proud of but I'll sit it out and see what occurs. 😍
Devon looks amazing! I was already telling my hubby that we should stay in the UK for holidays and tour the south-west coast! I can't wait to see it all myself!
