Uzbekistan is located on eurasian continent, in the center of the Central Asia. It is secular state, which means there is no state religion. Everyone is free to choose any religion he wants or don't choose any. It is a multinational and multicultural country where 130 different ethnic groups live together including around 15,000 German and Greek descendants, over 1 million of Russian descendants, 175,000 Koreans, a few thousands of Jewish, Polish and so on.

It has a very long history. Modern territory of Uzbekistan was a center of a greatest trading rout, the Great Silk Road. This is the motherland of father of Algebra. It was a center of science where greatest brains of surrounding empires were dreaming about to come to.

The total population of Uzbekistan is 32 mln people. Official language is Uzbek language which is very close to Turkish, Uyghur (Western China). Around 30% of the population is bilingual, many of them are trilingual. Around 50% of the population is fluent in Russian.

Uzbekistan became an independent state in 1991 (just 27 years ago). It is developing country with a lot of opportunities for business. It is considered one of the safest countries in the world. You can't find guns here or drug traficants, no street or motorbike thieves.

There are 4 seasons in Uzbekistan: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
Winters are short but cold, and summers are long and hot.
