Four seasons in one day.
We are now staying in Nelson on the top of the South Island. This is a nice area to stay because the sun hours are very high every season.
Yesterday we went to Westport and Karamea on the Westcoast of NZ. The climate is pretty the same as Nelson in these places only more rain.
It is really a nice journey to travel from Nelson to Westport. Early in morning there is some fresh snow on the mountains. I have respect for the German couple, they spent the night in their van on the top.
During the day it was beautiful weather the temperature was really fine.
The Autumn colours were beautiful, the snow on the mountains was fresh and cold. Early in morning it felt like Spring and in the afternoon it felt like Summer.
No rain yesterday, but I understand why they talk a lot about four seasons in one day here.
