AWESOME - The Largest Thermal Wellness Center In Europe
Our centre brings together the wonders of nature and the convenience of modern living in an exceptional setup. Thus, we created the largest botanical garden in Romania, which boasts over 800,000 plants, including 500 palm trees and many other unique species.

In this weekend I visited Therme and, in very few words, the experience was AWESOME. It's "AWESOMER" if you go there during the winter, because the water has a perfect temperature of 33 degrees Celsius and the air temperature is at a steady 30 degrees Celsius.
By the way, if you come to Romania be sure to visit this center, because it will take you 10 minutes driving from the airport.
The center is divided into three major sectors, each of them with a specific theme.
The Galaxy
First one, which is the cheapest ( around 12$ for the entire day ), it's the most crowded area and full of kids. I think that's because kids wanna have fun and this sector has the biggest pool with waves from Romania and a lot of toboggan slides. Of course, it's not only for kids, because there's also a pool bar, massage chairs, infrared chairs and some tropical saunas.

The Palm
The second one costs around 18$ for a day and as the name says, this area is dedicated to relaxation among 500 palm trees ( the largest garden of this type in Europe ).
Recently, like 1 week ago, they opened another great thing here, in The Palm sector, called Sands of Therme - 30 000 square meters of soft sand, 720 square meters tropical pool and 1500 beach lounges.
By the way, if you buy a ticket for The Palm you're also allowed to go to The Galaxy.

The Elysium
The last one is around 25$ for a day and it gives you access to all of wellness center's areas . Buy a ticket here if you come for the first time or you're the kind of person who likes saunas and nice massages ( you pay separately ).
You can find 6 saunas, each with its own theme, a pool infused with zinc and selenium, 3 massage studios, an a la carte restaurant and all of these comes with a great panoramic view over The Palm.

Conclusion
I really loved spending my Saturday here. The food and everything else was perfect.
I've been looking for relaxation somewhere near Bucharest and I finally found it. It's a great way of spending your day for those who are too far from The Black Sea and it's also cheaper.
