Delta Airlines promo offers free miles for Washington state (US) residents

As a hotel points and airline miles junkie, there isn't much out there I love more than free airline miles without any spending or travel requirements. For those US residents on Steemit who live in Washington state, Delta launched a marketing promotion called 12status which will likely pay out thousands of miles by the end of the 2016 NFL season. To register, visit the 12status website and opt in to the promo or create your new SkyMiles account.

Delta promises the following benefits for those who register for 12status:

• 1 mile for each passing yard at Seahawks home games (estimated 2k-3k miles by end of season) 
• 500 miles for every 12,000 people who sign up for 12status (unknown output, but very likely 1k+ miles by end of season)
• 1,200 miles if the fans at the game on December 15 are loud enough to cause five false start penalties against the visiting team (Los Angeles Rams)
• 1,200 miles for new SkyMiles members
• Priority boarding on flights out of SEA during football season beginning September 8
• Free merchandise in the terminals during away game travel periods
• All members are eligible for surprise seat upgrades to the Delta Sky360 Club at CenturyLink Field

All in, new SkyMiles members will be spotted around 5k miles for almost zero work and no cost due to this program. For those like me who love to travel and play the points and miles game, free miles are the best miles!
