The Dilapidated City. Mironositsky settlement-2

in #travel6 years ago

In the area where the settlement of Mironositskoe used to be, there are now kindergartens, a school, a river school, river vocals, hotels, and many other organizations and institutions. I specifically embraced precisely those streets and neighborhoods that historically belonged to this village.

On the Mironositskaya Square there is a dilapidated house, which, in my opinion, will soon become uninhabited.

It is unlikely that the roof of this house is subject to major repairs.

Pushkarikha Street, by the way, has not changed its name since the 17th century.
But its appearance has undergone a change, as most of the city burned out after the fire in 1772 and was rebuilt again several times.

It turns out that the Great Ustyug for the first time completely lost its appearance in the late 18th century. Now the same process is underway, only slightly slower.

It is a pity that beyond the end of the 19th century you will not be able to feel the atmosphere.

The river Sukhona is very close. Behind this house is a new quarter, which was built for immigrants from dilapidated and emergency housing.

"Pushkarikha Street, coming from settlement, on the right side there is 1 yard, 2 cottages and 1 yard empty; on the left side there are 10 courtyards, 1 yard is empty,
2 empty yard places and 1 place is empty. There was 1 yard from the river Sukhona." - according to the census book of 1714.

Now do not even imagine what they looked like the old yards.

If this house has four apartments, then each has a separate entrance.

And here was a clinic... now people live.

And here the clinic to this day. This building is located diagnostic center.

In the foreground is the building of the early 20th century, in the background - 21th.

Well preserved houses live their last years.

Well, this is pure vandalism! What could be plastic in such windows?

I would like to make a special selection of photos of modern homes for comparison, what awaits us in the future, and what we will leave to our ancestors. I will definitely do it!
In the meantime, you need to enjoy the wooden architecture.

No need to try to restore the old house, which is unfit for habitation - you need to demolish them and build a new one with improved conditions in this place. - But the state is not profitable, - you will say ... or - It is expensive! Did people have more money in 1885? But it was built beautifully!

Barracks - this is a separate issue, which create a completely different atmosphere.
