Frosty walk around the work

Once, in the icy winter season, I left work: there was a strong frost. I decided to walk with a camera and capture this beauty. Frost on the trees, the sun, peeking through the haze, screaming snow under your feet - all this gives winter a special atmosphere.

Not far from the place of my work a lot of old houses, beautiful narrow streets and churches.

In such places it is a pleasure to walk.

The Church of St. George the Victorious stands on the corner of Shilov and Uglovsky streets. It was recently restored and now there are worship services in it.

Across the road, in the depths of the courtyard, there is another church of Anthony and Theodosius Pechersky, which is about to be also restored.

If you go a little further, you can go to the earthen bridge, where the border of the two parts of the city. At the very beginning of the second part of Veliky Ustyug, on the shore of the Alexander Lake, there was a birch square of Rivermans.

Through the snow-covered trees one can see the Church of the Miracle of Archangel Michael in Khoneh.

The lake shore is overgrown with willows.

In the square there is a monument to Admiral Nakhimov.

If you go further, you can go to the bank of the river Sukhona.

It's time to go back, closer to work. Another square on the way is Peace Square. He was cut down in 2010, because they thought that the trees were sick. Now in the park are beginning to grow new trees.

The main part of the square, unfortunately, is still in neglected condition.

On the street Zaovrazhskoy I was met by a dog.

Katyshevo is the most ancient street, which will soon disappear from the map of the city. There are almost no houses on it.

Residents of the last residental house on the street Katyshevo stoked the stove.
