The Dreem Team at the Grand Canyon
We're camping now, so no internet, but I was able to run into town and grab some wi-fi at a coffee shop- the Grand Canyon was obviously incredible!
We are headed to the white sandy beaches of California, but lots of camping is going to continue to make posting and commenting difficult, I will run around a bit once we hit the next hotel!
It's great to see the kids again, thanks for sharing the pics of the journey so far-- happy Dreem Team! And that canyon-- the camera tries, it really does, but I know those distances are bigger than photos can say, grander than any postcard image can begin to show. It's one of those 'you had to be there' places, and you were there!
The other day you mentioned in a comment that you were at 7000 ft, and I immediately thought 'Flagstaff'! That's a unique part of the planet, a good way to get 'high' in the USA. Keep the pictures coming! Californy at last.

The Grand Canyon is so on my list of to do's... One of the few places in the world I am 100% certain I will see before I die, if I don't die first (LOL). Your pictures are brilliant. Thank you for sharing and rekindling my desire to see that place myself.

Beautiful views! That sounds wonderful to be away from wifi and civilization in a way. Taking a break from the world to enjoy some nice views is awesome.
It is the Grand Canyon of course it will be incredible! It's one of the things that we were planning on swinging by when we were planning our round the world trip, but several things have since gotten in the way (primarily the constant lack of money) so it will probably have to be something that gets done when we're grey nomads and not really able to mountain goat around the place like we do now XD

Indeed!! Haha, we're in Santa Cruz Cali now- the campground is gorgeous and about five miles out of the city. No wifi, no phone service even! But then you drive not ten minutes and you hit pure commercialism- took the kids to a seaside amusement park yesterday on Santa Cruz boardwalk (from the movie the Lost Boys, lol!)
Wowsers my good lady would love that, it's one of her favourite films! As well as the scenic stuff obvs!!
