my steem powered trip to delta state, Nigeria part 1
So as annoying as it seemed, I was finally able to make the trip to the southern part of Nigeria!
Hello everyone!
I left ife around 9am in the morning on Wednesday, 8th of November 2017, since the SIN program had ended.

Unfortunately when I got to the park, the car that was supposed to convey us was yet to get full, so we waited, for 3 hours I waited in a park, slept a little, hungry as hell( trust me. You do not want to eat while traveling). Until the final passengers got in and we moved.

The journey was in 2 parts as I had to go from Ife to Ore, then Ore to Delta state through Benin.

If there was anything that got me at all, it was the intense heat that radiated from the car.
When we got to ore, at about a little past 2pm, I discovered that I had left some cash at home!(inside the trouser I left behind)
So I had to look for an ATM nearby, all the while hoping that my cat didn't get too squirmy as the weather was pretty hot.

Cat's not hot
I had my cat with me, and needless to say, he was uncomfortable as hell.
I was glad that nothing went skrrrrrrrrrra inside the bag though, for the most part, he was real quiet. I had read articles about cats not liking car rides, but this was just amazing, only during the final half of the travel, when I got to Sapele and was heading on home did he start to act up.
I had him in a bag, though I sat near the window to provide fresh air for him, and I did open the zip.
Ever since we got home, he has been quiet, most likely the change of environment, since he was born and I got 2 months ago in Ife.
I haven't been able to leave my house since I got here because my cat was scared. When the lights came on , he immediately scrambled under my bed, and he's been hiding around since then.
I'm still trying to assure him that all is well, and leaving him alone is Tue last thing to do right now, though I'll need to go out and get food, just hoping his meows don't wake the neighbors up.

I can't wait to get in touch with @tfame @otemzi and any other deltan steemians, in addition to meetup, I'll like to also get some new members to come in to steemit, preferably all my old school mates!

We wait patiently for this train to get to East soon. Travelling with you cat in a public bus is something else as many including myself can't stay comfortably in such bus.
sir the train is already in the east, @ejemai @ogoowinner are doing great things in the east/south.
As for the cat, lol, i had to inform everyone that I was traveling with it. Lucky for me, the people in the 2 buses I entered did not object.
Good to learn that the train is here already, I will track and join them. On the cat, your are indeed lucky to have traveled with people who are not scared of the animal.

But it seems that the plan was known by Dr. Hector, he quickly chased the three of them up to the city park.
