Yep. That was the gold I told you about at the meetup last summer that I sold to buy that POS Jeep I was driving there for a little bit. I was sad to have to sell so much, but that Jeep got me to work for a few months so I could save up some cash for the much nicer 4runner that I'm currently driving now. So it was definitely worth it.
Let me know if you're ever thinking about going up there. If I'm around I'd love to join you for a day or 2 of digging!
I was thinking about going up for the day on Monday... our Arizona trip got cancelled this weekend and I was looking forward to prospecting out there. Might head up to East Fork on Monday instead but wasn’t sure if water level would be too high or if it would be too cold right now... worth a try or not after the recent weather? Would you want to join?
