We can remember things we see easily than things we just hear about. Seeing is one of the steps of creating memories because it makes you connect to such thing. I've been hearing about Paris and Dubai for a very long time now. When I become very financially stable, those two places will be among the places that I will be visiting. Just want to see for myself how beautiful they are

When you see a thing with your naked eyes, you can examine it thoroughly and are able to understand it completely. On the contrary, if you keep hearing about the same thing you can just imagine it in your head and will not be able to understand it completely. So it is better to see it once rather than hearing it for thousand times.

Well the practical thing is better than the verbal one. I can relate this quote to my studies, I have graduated in engineering and the class lectures were not as useful as the lab work. What I mean to say is, the practical work had much more learning than just the single lectures.

Happy and Blessed Sunday for all, Particularly I prefer to see and enjoy something palpable and remember it as a good event shared with family or friends, for example a beautiful landscape on a trip or enjoy a game.
When we can’t find inspiration or motivation within ourselves and for our dreams, we look for them outside.
Like a good horoscope or a bible of proverbs, inspirational quotes are guides and reminders that help align us to the path towards our dreams. For instance, I have a board on Pinterest dedicated to the collection of travel quotes and inspirations that will inspire me to travel, when I’m not. They are words and ideas that I resonate with, enough to beam with pride.

Perhaps this is what is meant by those who try to explain the beauty of the ocean to those who haven't seen an ocean. Sometimes the words fall short and cannot describe what eyes captured. Yet what was captured by the eyes is still there in the mind and yet it cannot be re-imagined on the canvas of the literature.
Once somebody had suffered the anxiety of not being able to describe the something in words then he would know when somebody is going through the same. This might provide them with an understanding of how deeply the viewer was affected by something.

I think we should not believe on things that we hear from others. we should go and see that with our own eye. It will help you indulging into misunderstanding.
Well said. Seeing some thing give you true self imagination. Every person see things differently. So it is better to see yourself than seeing with other eyes

I heard of himalayas many a times but not been there yet.
I heard they are beautiful and like heaven.
