Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @rockmen:
I don't post food pictures very often, but no Czech experience is complete without some of this amazing (and incredibly affordable) food. Not to mention the amazing beer! 🍺 I'm not disparaging German beer at all. It's some of the best in the world. However, because of the German Purity Law, some measure of creativity is lost in a beer that can only have three ingredients, by law. The Czech beer I had during this meal was a house brand and was coffee infused. One of the best beers I've had. That said, when it comes to whisky, I'm the complete opposite. I like my whisky kept to tradition. It's the Gemini-rising in me, accented by my Taurus the bull stubbornness. It confuses many people.

Activities on Charles Bridge. As I walked by again and again there was always somebody drawing there, always somebody playing music. I've seen the location empty or with few people only in artists paintings and drawings.
I like the black & white flair ~ ✨ ~
That sure is a typical sight at Charles Bridge. Great entry for today's contest. Thank you so much.
You're welcome! And I thank you as well.
View of the Sileisan Harta and its picturesque natural surrounding. Built on the Moravice River between 1987 and 1997, the Silesian Harta is - with a total area of 874 ha - the ninth largest dam in the Czech Republic.
Queen Anne's Summercastle and part of the Royal Garden, Prague Castle
This building was built by King Ferdinand I in the middle of the 16th century in a Renaissance style. The architects and partly the builders were Italians. The building is here to provide shade and coolness in the hot parts of the year. Right now it's nice.
Only in summer the gardens are open to the public. At the end of October the gardens will be closed and will open again in April.
The Cathedral of St. Barbara strikes with its beauty. Just do not look! At the entrance give a description of the interior decoration in Russian. It is quite enough instead of an excursion. St. Barbara's Church is a beautiful Gothic building with a remarkable history.
It is worth escaping to Kutna Hora, beautiful postcard of St. Barbara!
Beautiful cathedral framed in a charming and quiet city. Imposing on the outside, the road to her delivers one of the best postcards of Kutna Hora. For those who have more than one day in Prague this getaway is a must!
St Bartholomew's Cathedral
The exact date of the foundation of the cathedral is unknown, most likely it was placed in the middle of the 14th century. Construction lasted a total of more than two hundred years, and the final presentation of the building was received in five hundred years, when the bell tower was more than one hundred meters. Thanks to the huge tower, the cathedral became the highest church in the whole country. The Gothic-style building is the city's most important landmark.
St. Vitus Cathedral is a temple dedicated to the Catholic cult located in the city of Prague. It is part of the monumental artistic ensemble of Prague Castle and is the largest example of Gothic art in the city. you must visit this jewel of architecture.
Old Town Square really does have the wow factor. This offers the highest concentration of painted and decorated buildings I have EVER seen and they are all singularly impressive. Just sit and let history and culture wash over you whilst you absorb all its charm and elegance.
The astronomical clock was under renovation. If your trip to Prague just won't be complete without viewing it, check before you go to be sure it won't be covered up by scaffolding. The town hall itself is worth a visit, mostly to be able to go up into the tower to have a view of the old town square below. It was especially beautiful at night.
The five bridges. I actually found that the walk up to the view at the top had lots of great vantage points as well. At this point, you can't quite see all 5 bridges, but there was so much more color with the flowers and trees more prevalent. Well worth the climb!😍
