See the winner of the last week´s Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans @bluebottlefilms with the following entry:

The clarity of the water at my local marine sanctuary is amazing at the moment. I love it when the conditions are like this and have been getting down there as much as possible. The northern beaches of Sydney are so lucky to have Cabbage Tree Bay on it's doorstep!

The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #88 - winner announcement!

@bluebottlefilms Asian Sunday entry:

I had the privilege of visiting Komodo National Park in Indonesia last year and what a beautiful underwater world it was. Shooting in such clear water was a dream come true and the colour and complexity of the coral reefs did not disappoint.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #88 – winner announcement!

@vcclothing Australian Monday entry:

Flying into Uluru we got to see Australia's favourite landmark Ayres Rock. It was awesome to see it from the sky. Then the following day we got to walk around it, it was very hot and there is alot of flies, but well worth it.

Beautiful golden sunset over the Pacific Ocean as seen and captured from the beach near the Venice Pier at the bachfront part of L.A. California. I took this shot on a sunny but chilly day in March 2018.

Costa Rica is known for its bio-diversity, ecotourism and national parks. Cahuita National Park in the Limón Province has to be one of the most amazing parks in the country. It was created in 1970 as a National Monument to preserve the coral reefs off the Caribbean coast.

The blue sea lapping up on the wild black sand beaches of Iceland. On these beaches it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere in a strangely isolated place.

Stunning shot! So pristine and peaceful. I love these remote natural places :)

Thanks! I hope they remain remote and pristine too

Photo of me and the sea.) Made in vietnam.
This sea did not submit to me, all the time there were very big and unpleasant waves, so I had to enjoy it from the side.

The Razorback, Great Ocean Road, Australia

The Great Ocean Road is full of incredible rock formations. This one has adequately been named "The Razorback". This viewpoint was a great stop on my cycling trip along the famous road.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

This picture is taken just after the sunset. The colors after the sunset are really beautiful and vibrant.
This was taken at Pensacola beach, Florida.

The Sleeping Stones

taken at the coast of Baltic Sea, Lithuania. Deep colors of sunset well multiplied by quite a long exposure to freeze the water. Big round stone plays perfect compositional role

Enjoy it!

Then end of a nice day in Holguin, Cuba. We were the last boat in that day, it was too cool to be on the water, so we did not want to go back. Because of the wind, it was the only day we had the chance to do the boat ride, so glad we did.

No day is ever the same when you are shooting in and around the ocean. There are so many variables that affect the conditions. Swell, wind, sun, rain, tides, sediment, nutrients etc. They all interact to make conditions challenging and sometimes frustrating.

Today I am sharing photo from May 2018 when we were on holidays at Mali Lošinj in Croatia. On the last day when we already checked out from our hotel, we just sat at the beach and watched power of sea in combination with cloudy sky.
