I think that my life is not so bad ! No, it's not my boat... mine is bigger ! It was for a job around glorieuse islands. Nice day on a paradisiac place with a paradisiac boat.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Wahiba Sand Desert Oman. Today I share another picture I took in the desert of Wahiba Sands. You can see the stunning sunset around this incredible area. One of the most peaceful places I have been on all my travels.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #74 - winner announcement!

@gunnarheilmann Australian Monday entry:

This Boab Tree is located just a few kilometers from Emma Gorge at El Questro on Gibb River Road in Western Australia. There is no Light Polution at all.
On of the hotest nights i ever spent Light Painting. 39.5° C 2AM - impossible to sleep full on sweaty sleeping on the car in the middle of f-ing nowhere. Anyhow the photo was totally worth it. This Boab Tree was so impressive and also noisy. What you cant see nor hear are all the frogs that were sitting in that tree. So cool. What you see here is a 40sec. exposure and i run with my colored flash lights towards the tree and shine at the ground first then the tree second. If you look closely you can also see my feet. I think it adds some organic texture and makes it more real than just some photoshopped effect. FYI > The huge bright spot next to the tree is not the moon. That is Saturn!

Sunset over the Caribbean Sea. I took this shot while coming back home from my evening beach walk here in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Usually, the sky remains red-yellowish for a while after the sunset but for some reason, it turned this bizarre purplish shade that night.

Playa Punta Esmeralda! I can't express in words how much I love this place!!Look at those incredible colours!!The paradise you see is a freshwater, crystal clear cenote mixing with the warm turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. What a place to chill out by the sunset.

Fishing at the Venezuelan central coast. You can observe the silhouettes of pelicans standing on the rock and the sea was very calmed. The photo was taken at late afternoon. This activity of fishing at the coast it is very popular.

Angry Skies

Bloody and pretty stormy winter sunset at the gates to the port of Klaipeda, Lithuania. You can see wave breakers line as a foreground and North+South lighthouses leading showing the vessels right way inside the port and outside. Actually far away from the right you can see silhouette of the ship just left the port recently

Enjoy the scenery!

Those magical mornings when you wake up and look outside and realise the beauty of what’s passing by. Antarctica truly does blow the mind. One of the last truely untouched parts of our planet.

Greece is a beautiful country, lots of thing to discover all around. On the islands, it is really relaxing. The beaches are spectacular, with a nice blue salty water. I never been on a cruise, just took a little boat to reach the island of Santorini but got to see a lot of them all around. Maybe one day, who knows!

Honestly, I would doubt of anyone has actually went to antartica. Tell me if I’m wrong.

I’m not saying that this contest is a bad idea, but I don’t think people will really post pics actually from antartica, and instead claim that a picture taken in finland or any other place is from antartica instead.

We have already had a few competitors in this contest who have been to Antarctica.

Well, your assumptions are completely wrong. Even though entries from Antarctica are pretty rare they do appear from time to time and today's entry from @bluebottlefilms is the prove. Nevertheless, adding oceans to Antarctica's Tuesday solves the problem with limited entries from that continent.

Beautiful photo and I love blue sea
