Telč is a town in southern Moravia, in the Czech Republic. This small town was founded in the 13th century as a royal water fort on the crossroads of busy merchant routes between Bohemia, Moravia and Austria. Apart from relaxing ponds you can see "classic Netherlands houses" and lots of tower peaks.

Long story of main Brno railway station moving. The first idea is old ninety years. Last ten years there where quarrels but now it seems that realisation can start. May be in ten or fifteen years Brno gets modern railway station. The old building wouldn't be demolished but used for another purposes.

Front view of the St. Hedwig´s Church, one of the most important modernist architectural landmarks of my Czech hometown of Opava. Built between 1933 and 1937, the church is considered one of the greatest works of the prominent Silesian architect Leopold Bauer. Easily recognizable by its unusual, pyramid-like appearance, the church is dedicated to St. Hedwig (also known as Hedwig of Silesia), a famous Duchess of Silesia who lived in the late 12th and early 13th century.

Chapel of Our Lady, Břevnov, Prague. This chapel was built after the Thirty Years War on the domain of the Benedictines. Inspired by the chapel in Oettingen. After 1791, when it was canceled as a chapel, it was only degraded.
Over the last few months, landscaping began to take place around it. That a total reconstruction?

Photo of the statue of Charles IV, Emperador of the Holy Roman Empire and King of Bohemia. The famous Charles bridge was built under his rule. This statue is next to the bridge and is sounded with Barroque Churches, as it can be seen in the photo. I consider that the black and white format suits quite well to this image.

Beautiful panoramic view of the historic center of Prague and a lot of the iconic red roofs as seen and captured from a view point located right next to the Prague Castle, one of the most dominant landmarks of the city.

View from the Old Town Bridge Tower. This tower is located at the entrance to the Charles Bridge. Initially, the tower had a dual purpose. The tower was a fortress defensive building, but also triumphal. It was under the arch of this tower that kings marched to Prague Castle. Hence the name "royal path." Currently, everyone can climb the tower and admire the beautiful view of the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle.

Beautiful views of the (Vltava) river bank and the Old Town Water Tower (Staromestska Vodárnaon) on a cold winter day. Taken from the Charles Bridge (Karlúv most) in Prague when the sun was falling down.

Thanks for the feature Tomas! :) Today, I am coming with something more classic - view of the Prague Castle captured from the Charles Bridge. According to the Guinness Book of Records, the Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle in the world, occupying an area of almost 70,000 square metres (750,000 square feet).
