Ice soldiers. The coast of Baltic Seaa t Sventoji, Lithuania. A small city about 40km from Klaipeda. The remaons of old piers looks just stunning after certain periods of cold weather with ice hats on the tops caused by constantly hitting waves. This evening was very calm and got some colors only at the very sunset. A bit of long exposure to "move" the clouds. Enjoy it!

Biei - Hokkaido, Japan. One of my favourite places in the world. A quiet morning in the blue pond in Biei. The autumn colours serve as a brilliant warm curtain, a deep contrast to the cyan and turquoise mirrors of the water.

@bluebottlefilms Australian Monday entry:
This was a pretty special dive for the person on the left in the background of this photo. It was their first ever discover scuba dive and we had mantas galour circling the bombies at Lady Elliot Island. I kinda wish I had her details so I could share the photo with her.

View of a salt lake with a dead tree in the foreground at Salineras Xtampu, a complex of salt lakes near Merida between Progreso and Telchac Puerto in north Yucatan, Mexico. Home to flamingos and many other birds, the lakes are fed by and connected with the sea, so they are basically a part of the sea :)
Endless blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean with a cluster of cactuses in the foreground captured from a cliff somewhere in Northern Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. With a total area of over 2,000 square kilometers, Tenerife is the largest (and most visited) of all seven Canary Islands.
Cliffs at Northern Chile, near the city of Antofagasta. This sandy cliffs in front of the Pacific Ocean are quite impressive, and they form interesting shapes. As it can be seen in the photo this zone is very dry. I am currently visiting this region.
Rocks near Kamakura, Japan
When I visited Tokyo two weeks ago, all accommodation in the city was either booked out or ridiculously expensive on Saturday night. This was a convenient excuse to stay in Kamakura, a coastal town south of Tokyo popular for its big buddha statue. While this famous statue is overrun with tourists, there are many beautiful places near Kamakura. We did some great hiking in the mountains all day and then descended to the coast where I captured this long-exposure.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.
Great Ocean Road, Australia
Swimming in the World Oceans is something special to me and I can´t get enough of it. No matter if it is on a Surfboard or without. On this beautiful tiny beach on the Great Ocean Road I experienced the coldest water ever in my life. It was spring and the water had around 16 degree.
The lagoon in Raiatea, in French Polynesia is always a marvel to look at. I would say that it's definitely not the worst place for this coconut tree to get some rest.
Ha ha, great shot!
Chain reaction
Curonian spit, Lithuania. Stunning winter sunset. Nice snow patterns somehow looking like the snow (or ice) is flowing forward to be used as fuel for a burning skies...
Wide angle lens with LEE filters used as usual
Enjoy it!

Being near water is always calm and relaxing. During the day, in Dahab, the water is calm and clear, and it is a perfect spot to explore underwater life. At night, tons of nice restaurant to spend the night in good company next to the water.
Menacing cloud in the sky, the storm is coming from the ocean. Standing in the beach I can feel the wind speed rising and the waves becoming bigger. I love being by the sea where there is a storm and feel all the elements unveils.
Location: At Kilda, Melbourne, Australia.
Hi, I do love your image but it is not much to do with oceans neither with Antarctica and I will not be able to consider it of the contest at this time. Thank you for your understanding and have a great day.
