Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

@funtraveller Asian Sunday entry:
Hello @czechglobalhosts! This is the view of Marina Bay area in Singapore, a photo that I took while there's an incoming storm / heavy rain along my way. It's an uncommon scene and this serves as my entry to the Asian Sunday photo challenge.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #28 – winner announcement!
@benfenson Australian Monday entry:
This is Kiama lighthouse on the NSW, Southcoast, taken during a violent thunderstorm at the start of this years storm season. My partner and i had originally walked out to the tip of the headland to photograph the storm coming in from the West but the storm was moving so quickly that by the time we had setup, bolts of lightning were exploding all around us prompting us to head for cover. Just before making it back to the car the wind and rain hit luckily my camera gear stayed dry!.... I didn't ;)

This photo is another from my recent trip to Sayulita, Mexico. I took this as the sun was rising over the hills and the Pacific Ocean. I loved that rock in the middle of the ocean that was a very popular perching site for birds throughout the day.
Great image! Thank you Matt.
View of reefs, volcanic rocks and the Atlantic Ocean in Playa Paraiso, a little tourist town in the Costa Adeje area on Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. This landscape is very typical of the south of the island. Northern Tenerife is much greener. Yet, the omnipresent solidifed lava is a trait that all regions of Tenerife as well as the other Canary Islands have in common as they are all of volcanic origin.
Thank you so much for your submission. Have a good one!
Sunset Baltic Sea coast, nearby Klaipeda, Lithuania. A big stone as center of a composition and long exposure to freeze the movement of the wave
The most difficult part is actually to stay with dry shoes :) Every time sea just tries to catch me, but have enough experience so far to predict bigger waves
Enjoy it!

Beautiful as always mate.
Hi! Amazing pick but little short on words. See if you can adjust in order to qualify for the contest. Thank you. Tomas
It was a rather stressful encounter. One of the other cage diving boats gave us a signal, that there was a young Southern Right Whale in distress.... It turned out that he just had a fun time, tolling around at the surface.
Wow thats a super cool shot. I have never seen a right whale.
That must have been some scary encounter.... What an experience.
The Beach at the south end of Ilsa Carmen, an abandoned island in the Sea of Cortez, southeast of Loreto Mexico. To get here, our group paddled kayaks from the mainland, then walked about 10 minutes to get to this location.
What a wonderful entry! Thank you so much. Tomas
Sunrise on the rocky coast of Bermuda, an island that feels tropical (to this Canadian) but isn't. I preferred photographing the rocky, wave-swept north and east shore rather than the touristy southern shore with its reef-protected beaches.
What a wonderful image that is! Thank you for sharing. Tomas
Thank you, Tomas! :)
To touch paradise. This is the case when you do not know which side of the water you like more. A wonderful and bright underwater world. And beautiful tropical islands. The magic of sunsets and the gentle ocean.
And on the islands of Fiji are very nice and kind people. Which are among the first on the planet to meet a new day.
Thank you so much for your contribution. Have a great day. Tomas
Kids playing along Nightcliff's Rocky beach at the sunset. In the pool, tiny mangrove trees are growing within the salt water and in the red-orange sky, the birds are flying around looking for food left by the tide. The magic is up at each ending of a day in here.
Location: Darwin, Australia.
Just stunning!
Brain Coral - From Our World's Oceans
This is a photo of Brain coral taken in the Flower Garden's Marine Sanctuary 110 miles off the coast of Texas. This coral gets its name because of their shape and grooved surface which resembles a brain.

How extraordinary! Fabulous entry. Thank you so much! Tomas
Thank you. I appreciate it.
In this photo, I tried to capture the wild beauty of the Tasman Sea. Even the fisherman got scared of the wild sea, or maybe the reason that he was not there is that we went to see the fisherman's friend?
fishing is by far my favorite activity
So peaceful. Great shot!
