Hello fellow steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Tuesday of Antarctica and the world’s oceans - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 150 SBD! Today you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to a continent of Antarctica. I am also adding world's oceans to the challenge as I am guessing it would be fairly hard to get many entries for Antarctica only.

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.

The winner of a daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday as well as Australian Monday and give them your support if you like their image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #13 - winner announcement!

@schmidthappens Asian Sunday entry:

Many weeks in the Sunday Asian contest, I see photos from Hong Kong so today I decided to submit my own. It really is such a photogenic city. And if you haven't been, the best place to go at night for an incredible view of the city is Victoria Peak. It's definitely busy and filled with other people trying to take photos, but it's totally worth the effort to get a shot like this.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #13 – winner announcement!

@nikonmarshall Australian Monday entry:

Please consider my photo of the perfect storm that passed over Sydney Harbour Bridge last Thursday night, the atmosphere it created was incredible and this shot was taken after the third time I had convinced myself to leave! Great competition @czechglobalhosts thank you for your consideration.

Water is not only import for human nature but also extremely dangerous. Especially countries like Holland are effected enormously by the rising water levels. This image was captured in the Wadden Sea back in October 2013. The cloud formations above the quiet sea are stunning. I remember sitting on deck and just starring into the sky for nearly an hour while taking images once in a while.

I was lucky enough to go to Antarctica earlier this year for a documentary we are filming. Getting right up close to the Gentoo penguins was definitely one of the more memorable experiences from the trip.

cool. you have captured this amazing creature in an amazing place!

Thanks @cryptoflash, Antarctica is pretty special!

Wow, that is pretty close! Great photo!

Awesome photo... those penguins always look sad to me for some or other reason.

Thanks @extremejogging, maybe they are sad because the ice is melting 😞

Incredible shot. Antarctica must be amazing. I love isolated places without people :)

@phortun It is a wonderful place, truly spectacular!

Beautiful. Antarctica with it's rough landscape is also a dream location for me. Wow

@mibreit-photo the landscape is so extreme, you'd love it!

What a great pic! Thank you so much for your submission. Tomas

Thanks @czechglobalhosts, it's great to see how much the photo competition has grown in the short time I have been on Steemit. Keep up the amazing work!

As I haven't made it to Antarctica yet, here's a shot of Bay of Fires by the Tasman Sea. The beach may seem quite calm and beautiful, but the Tasman Sea between Australia and New Zealand is one of the wildest oceans in the world.

Beautiful as always, thank you for your contribution. Tomas

So lets continue the ICE AGE theme. Another shot from the frozen coastline at Baltic sea near Klaipeda, Lithuania.
This shot is taken early in the cold winter morning (after certain period of very negative temperature, when even seacoast starts to get frozen)
Lower point of view (if remember right even without i tripod, camera was just laying on the ground, as well as me... actually) makes this piece of ice really stand out

Enjoy the scenery!

What a great entry, thank you for that!

Storm is coming

Rarely we get some storms, but when we do, they're truly spectacular. You can even see in the middle the boat trying to get away from the storm. This was taken in kitesurfing heaven called Svencele back in Lithuania.

Fabulous picture! Thank you so much!

Stormy clouds forming over the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea in Playa Delfines, Cancun, Mexico. The color and purity of the water in Cancun is really amazing but the beaches can get a bit crowded at times. I took this photo a few months ago.

Thanks ever so much for your submission. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas

One of the many pictures I have of Antarctica from my trip this summer. Was incredible to see the different ice structures and still amazed by the sheer size. Also got to finally check off seeing a penguin in real life off my bucket list which made it all the better.

Really cool shot. I wish I can go one day to Antarctica.

Absolutely stunning. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas

I've never been to the North or South pole and prefer snorkeling without a wetsuit. Here we are snorkeling in the warm waters of the tiny Greek Island Sifnos. There are no waves here and you can weightlessly float on the surface admiring the beautiful semi-tropical sea life!

Calm waves on the coast of Ibiza

Never been to Antarctica so this time the best I can give is this photo I snapped near San Antonio, Ibiza during the sunset. Even though the island is best known as a party centre, i have to say it was a great idea to rent a car and explore this beautiful island.

Thank you so much for entering your great image into the challenge. I will be making a winner announcement in a separate post soon. Stay tuned. Tomas

The Calm Before the Storm
Never been to Antarctica, but travelled across a few oceans, so I decided to share this one with you. World's second largest ocean - the Atlantic! Photo taken the morning before a storm hit Miami and the calmness and peace of the ocean just before a storm always fascinates me.

What a beautiful image. Please stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas

Thank you @czechglobalhosts! I look forward to it. Love photography :)
