Chilean Patagonia just outside of the town of Villa Castillo. I was just about to start a multi-day hike through the reserve of Cerro Castillo when I realized I needed to refill on water. Made my way from the road to the river and this is what I saw.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #73 - winner announcement!

@jpphotography Asian Sunday entry:

Don Khon Waterfall, Laos. After four exchausting and amazing days on the motorbike in the Bolaven Plateu last week, I visited two of the 4000 islands that are located in the South of Laos in the Mekong River and are a great place to relax. I am a bit proud of myself that I actually managed to get some work done in this chilled and hot place; To reward myself, I rented a bicycle in the afternoon and explored Don Khon island where I found this beautiful waterfall just before sunset.

Recently I traveled to the city of Cumaná, capital of Sucre state, Venezuela, I visited the beautiful beach of San Luis to wait for the sunset; but while I waited patiently sitting on the shore, in front of me this boat of fishermen passed by and they began to shout at me, photo, photo! It made me very funny and of course I pleased them, and from where I was I showed them the camera with my right hand as a sign that I had already photographed them and they in response raised their hands and shouted, aah! and they continued happy their course.

Canaima National Park

Gran sabana.jpg

These beautiful shots correspond to La Gran Sabana, which is located within the Canaima National Park, is a region located southeast of Venezuela, in the Guayanas massif, also south-east of Bolívar State, and extends to the border with Brazil and Guyana. It is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the country, with spectacular views that can only be found in this place in the world, its main attraction are the hills in the form of tepuy and a large number of agoa waterfalls of different heights. In this park there is a diversity of flora and fauna.

Last summer I travelled around South America and on my way from Bolivia to Chile, I visited the Laguna Hedionda where I took this photo of feeding flamingos. The Laguna Hedionda is a small salt lake in the Andean altiplano, located at over 4000 meters above sea level and known for its variety of pink and white flamingos.

This is at the National Reserve of Flamingos, located in the commune of San Pedro de Atacama, Antofagasta Region of northern Chile. Two flamingos are flying by at sunset. I just don't get tired of shooting photos in this warm toned desert region. :)

I spent a day in Tupiza, Bolivia and went for a hike in the Canyon del Inca. We were surrounded by cool red rock formation and La Puerta del Diablo formation is a special one. No worries, I did not encounter the devil.

This photograph reflects 2 of the wonders of nature, I mean the sea and at sunset in the town of "beach the water" on the island of Margarita - Venezuela. It is one of the places where tranquility stands out, so it is ideal to spend a pleasant day.

Walking at dusk on the edge of Lagoa da Conceição, in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina / SC, I was impressed by this extraordinarily colorful sky in clouds and reflecting on the movement of the lagoon waters.
