Footsteps in the Sand - Sahara, Morocco. Before I went there myself, I thought that there could not be any exciting landscapes in the Sahara, just a lot of sand. I could not have been more wrong, the steadily changing sand dunes form one of the most amazing landscapes that I have ever seen!

Paamul is a paradise beach situated in the Riviera Maya, near Puerto Aventuras. Perfect to chill out, scuba diving, camping, snorkeling, sun bath or having a nice meal in the beach front restaurant.

Summer Rain
The summer monsoon season usually brings many thunderstorms to this area. It's a wonderful surprise when suddenly a rainbow appears as some bright evening sunlight breaks through the retreating clouds. Cathedral Rock and Oak Creek share rich summer color with the sky. Sedona Arizona USA.

Now this photo is already one year old, but my memory on that day is still fresh. How could I forget sunny day when we arrived to LA and had a great walk through LA zoo and then late afternoon head up to the Griffith Observatory. When sun was going down, it was a MUST to take few clicks. You can see the result below…

Epic scene! I love the Griffith Park, definitely my favorite place in LA ;)

Taken on the Bow Valley Parkway in Banff National Park, Stormy Mountain. We woke up early to try to catch a sunrise but it was too foggy and it wasn't going to happen so while we were already awake, we decided to go on a drive towards the frozen Lake Louise glaciers. As we gained altitude on the road the blue skies started to reveal themselves above the fog.

This is my entry for this week. In 2016 we were driving through Monument Valley. It's impressive and you feel like being in a western movie. Most people focus on the impressive rock formations, but for this week I wanted to highlight this special rock we saw. It looks a bit like a huge mushroom.

This is Mount Rundle taken from Vermillion Lakes this last Easter weekend. Lots of people have seen this view from the highway just outside of Banff. It was nice to take the turnoff this day and go for a hike around the lake for once!

I love cities where the weather is always good. I went to Las Vegas in late October and felt like I was still in the summer. I am not a gambling type of person, but I enjoyed the architecture of the different casinos, like this one.

View of main square in Cienfuegos, Cuba

Cities all over Latin America feature a large square or park in the center. The heritage of the Spanish city planners is also visible in the colonial architecture. In Cienfuegos, one of Cuba's most beautiful cities, this great rooftop viewpoint is hidden in a house on the plaza.
