Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @krakonos:

Troja castle, view from the vineyard, Prague. The castle was built by Count Šternberk in the Baroque style at the end of the 17th century. His garden was an example of a Louis XIV-style French garden. In 1922, the last private owner donated the castle and the extensive surrounding land of the state. The extensive exhibition of paintings of the City Gallery Prague is now located in the castle. There are a zoo and a botanical garden on the surrounding grounds.

I rewarded @krakonos entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

This idyllic & romantic spot is to be found in the UNESCO-protected ancient city of Kutná Hora: featuring the late Gothic Cathedral of St.Barbara surrounded by its lovely gardens ~ 🥀 ~ !
The building is said to be dedicated to Virgin Barbara ~ a Christian martyr & patron of everyone who entertains a dangerous occupation, especially miners who contributed the very most to the construction of this splendid church which they naturally dedicated to their holy protectress ~ ✨ ~

The Hodonín Gallery of Fine Arts was founded in 1960 and ranks among the most prominent Czech and Moravian galleries. Besides permanent exhibitions, the Gallery offers original and guest exhibitions and performances, as well as a wide range of additional programmes for the general public.

The Catholic Church of St. Ludmila is located in Prague's Vinohrady district, on Peace Square. The majestic neo-gothic temple with two tall bell towers. Ludmila Bohemia is considered the first Slavic saint. The pagans have strangled her with their own veil, and now Saint Lyudmila is depicted with a white scarf. The Church of Saint Ludmila is active, it belongs to the Roman Catholic Church and is open during worship services.

Cesky Krumlov
It can be said that it is the most beautiful city in this world. Even among the many beautiful European cities, there are amazing views here. From the scenery of the morning sun to the setting sun, the city lights of the night, there are hundreds and thousands of impressions that you will never get bored of when you release the shutter.

The fact that it‘s the oldest astronomical clock working combined with the high complexity makes it a magnificent attraction.
Every round hour there is a play where the figures of the clock start moving. You should definitely be there at least once and take a look.
The story of the maker is also very interesting. In order To prevent him building such a masterpiece in another city he was blinded and his tongue was cut. At the end he committed a suicide by jumping from the tower above the clock.

The Cathedral of San Vito is certainly the pride of Prague Castle. Imposing on the outside, the interior is absolutely magnificent. Beautiful stained glass windows and sculptures, absolutely recommended for visit.

Morning walk across Charles Bridge☀️
FB_IMG_1556125813422.jpg
One of the most famous and emblematic, historical bridges in Europe, in the center of Prague. Made of stone, it connects the old city and the new city, is said that it helped Prague to become a commercial pass between East and West. Always full of people, either tourists who stay long enough in order to take selfies or local artists who sell either crafted things or paintings. The bridge is very long, more than 500 meters and has an arch shape.

The newest bridge in Prague, Troja Bridge

The oldest bridge in Prague is Charles Bridge. It has been serving 662 years. But Prague is not an open-air museum. New buildings are being built here. This bridge is less than 5 years old. I don't know if it will last at least 657 years.

St. Nicholas Church
What a beautiful church located in the old town square. The church is a sight to behold - loads of statues of saints, religious artefacts and beautiful frescos ceilings, amazing decor and a beautiful altar! There is also a huge beautiful chandelier hanging in the church.

Creepy and spooky location in Kutna Hora. It's very special. We loved the architecture and the bone art. If you don't want to see a lot of tourists, you should visit the Sedlec-Ossarium from Monday to Thursday morning ;)
