In New Hampshire, the White Mountains region is home to the highest mountains in the northeast of the United States. The Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Monroe, Madison, Eisenhower, Pierce, Jackson and Webster Mountains are part of the Presidential Range... no need to explain where the name comes from. But there are also the Lincoln, Lafayett, Bondcliff, Bond, West Bond and Willard Mountains which offer a great landscape. Here, the view of Mount Lafayette.

@jpphotography Asian Sunday entry:

Temple in Surat Thani, Thailand. I recently spent a day in Surat Thani, a city in Southern Thailand. Due to monsoon season it was raining a lot, but when I visited the awesome night market, the sky cleared up and I was able to capture this beautiful sunset behind a temple.

@davedavis91 Australian Monday entry:

Finally, I got some fresh images taken in down under this year. The probably most iconic hotspot on the east coast, White haven beach in the midst of the Whitsunday Islands of the coast of Airlie Beach. Most people hop on one of many 2D1N tours that sail you and and a group of people around the islands. A wonderful experience. We got lucky and saw it all. Whales, sharks turtles rays,... countless breathtaking encounters with the marine wildlife.

Sunset in Ko Lipe, Thailand. I really enjoyed the time I spent on Ko Lipe, a small island in the Southern Andaman Sea. Especially the snorkelling off the island and the sunsets like this one from Pattaya beach were highlights of my visit.

Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, we spent the day checking out the waterfalls on the Zimbabwe side. Even though there was only 20% of water that normally flows over the falls it was still amazing to see!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - European Thursday week #110 - winner announcement!

@karma-panorama European Thursday entry:

One of the most visited tourist sites in Vienna, Schönbrunn Palace is worth a visit. the imperial family used it as a summer residence, but the Turkish invasions led to its near-destruction. It was later rebuilt to make it the Versailles of Austria. There are obvious similarities between the two palaces, especially when we go through the gardens.

Let me share something Halloween themed today :) This beautiful skeleton lady can be found on the Fifth Avenue in the touristy part of the Mexican city of Playa del Carmen. Mexicans really love skeletons and skulls of all kinds, not just during the Dia de Muertos holiday but pretty much all year round :)

This picture was taken at University of Alberta's forested garden in Devon. In the long gone summer days we go visit the well hidden gem at various times in the season for all the different blooms.

One Horse Power

Horses are capable of transporting people as well as cargo. The best about horses is, that they run on food instead of gas, and while Cuba has no oil reserves, they can feed their horses with the produce of their own agriculture.

I have never visiter city which would be as lively as Las Vegas. There is so much happening. Each hotel something different from outside and inside. One of the main sights is of course Bellagio with its fountains.

Twin Falls, Tennessee

Twin falls is located in rocky island state park in Tennessee. The state park has many waterfalls and Twin Falls is special coz of the height it falls from and accessibility. To know the beauty of the falls, you have to stand infront of the water Falls and hear the roaring sound it makes. Its accessible through a short and flat hike with a magnificent view it offers you.

Longwood mansion is the largest octagonal house in the United States. It is an historic antebellum mansion located in Natchez, Mississippi.
The house was designed in 1859 for a cotton planter name Haller Nutt. The civil war put an old on the work and the death of Mr Nutt put an end to it in 1864. Sadly, only nine rooms of the originally planned thirty-two were completed. After years of abandonment, it is now one of the most popular attractions of the region.
Those who know the American series "True Blood" will recognize this place.

The land of a thousand lakes in Ontario, Canada. Nothing but water, trees and cabins for miles and miles around. A boat (and drone!) is required to make the most of this area!

Golden Reflection
The West Fork of Oak Creek is typically a great place to view the fall color change. The gentle flowing water is peaceful and has numerous reflection pools that offer some very special scenery including lots of colorful leaves. This is a large canyon complex that extends deep into the surrounding wilderness and remains a very popular attraction. Sedona Arizona USA.

This was our visit to Goblin Valley State Park is a state park of Utah, in the United States. It's a very strange and colorful valley you feel like your on a alien planet with all the weird mushroom shaped rounds and the thousands of hoodoos surrounding you but was a awesome experience to see.
