Line of houses in the center of Barcelona, Spain. You can also see the famous Casa Batlló House here - one of the city´s iconic landmarks designed by Antoni Gaudí. The local name for the building is Casa del Ossos (House of Bones) as it has a visceral, skeletal organic quality.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #88 - winner announcement!
@bluebottlefilms Asian Sunday entry:
I had the privilege of visiting Komodo National Park in Indonesia last year and what a beautiful underwater world it was. Shooting in such clear water was a dream come true and the colour and complexity of the coral reefs did not disappoint.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #88 – winner announcement!
@vcclothing Australian Monday entry:
Flying into Uluru we got to see Australia's favourite landmark Ayres Rock. It was awesome to see it from the sky. Then the following day we got to walk around it, it was very hot and there is alot of flies, but well worth it.
@jpphotography Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:
The Razorback, Great Ocean Road, Australia. The Great Ocean Road is full of incredible rock formations. This one has adequately been named "The Razorback". This viewpoint was a great stop on my cycling trip along the famous road.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #88 - winner announcement!
@axeman African Wednesday entry:
Qurator's Photo Friday #77 - Flaming Hurghada. Early morning at the beach near Hurghada, Egypt. My last day of vacation, but still decided to wake up early to catch sunrise. And I was right, this clouds line at the horizon just made all the scenery very special with those visible sun rays. All combined with nice long tele-photo lens perspective and reflection from the water surface. Enjoy the scenery :)

Who said cemeteries always have to be scary? This one that I captured in Nice, France was actually beautiful and majestic. Home to some 350,000 people, Nice is located on the famous French Riviera by the Mediterranean coastline of France.
Mount Teide is a volcano on Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Spain. Its summit (at 3,718 m) is the highest point in Spain and the highest point above sea level in the islands of the Atlantic. Teide is the most visited natural wonder of Spain, the most visited national park in Spain and Europe and (by 2015) the eighth most visited in the world.
This is a drone shot taken at the Grossglockner High Alpine region. At 3,798 metres above the Adriatic, the Grossglockner is the highest mountain in Austria. Driving in this area is a feast to eyes. The winding roads are like ribbons flowing between the majestic mountains, lush pastures and flowery meadows.
The Schönbrunn Palace, in Vienna, was the summer residence of the Habsburg Emperors of the Austria-Hungarian Empire. It is an impressive and massive building as it can be seen in the photo. It is painted in yellow colour so characteristic of the imperial constructions of Austria.
One of the most beautiful football stadiums in Germany is in Berlin. On a day off I spent some time there and enjoyed the great architecture. The picture is a panorama and shows the best size of the stadium. click on the picture for a full picture
Beautiful stadium! Is that the home stadium of Hertha Berlin?
Yes exactly 👍🏻

Hellraiser
Calm and warm summer evening at the coast of Baltic Sea. Just great cloud formations and was lucky to get sun through them at the horizon at the very moment of sunset, making all around just bloody red.
Quite apocalyptic view in fact with a touch of long exposure
Enjoy it!

Flowers in Karlsruhe Zoo, Germany
Last year, the zoo in my city waived the entrance fee for a day. I used the chance to pay a visit to the zoo. The most impressive feature of the zoo is the beautiful park that is filled with blooming flowers at spring time.

Here I present a fairytale-like picture from northern Austria taken about a week ago ~ ✨ ~ !
Broom is in bloom - the yellow shrubs in the front that match the sunlit trees further in the back :)
Some areas of this idyllic place are open and quite popular for swimming in the warmest season - which is just about to start...!....
Elliptical canal on Prato della Valle square, Padua, Italy
This is one of the largest squares in the world (88 620 m²). It was built at the end of the 18th century. You can see the statues of the 84 famous Padua natives, or the people who studied there.
St. Peter's Basilica, located in the Vatican, is the most important religious building of Catholicism in the world.
It was built on the site of the circus of Caligula and Nero, where the first pilgrims came to worship St. Peter.
