The number of entries yesterday was very good with many high-quality images so it was extremely hard to decide on the winning one. My picture shows the Eibsee in Bavaria. it is right next to the Zugspitze of Germany's largest mountain. I took the picture with my drone. so you can see the small islands in the middle of the lake.

Elephant mountain is easy to reach by metro and after a half hour hike up several stairs it offers an excellent view of Taipei and the unique Taipei 101. At sunset the viewing platform is always packed with people and many photographers.

I was able to capture this beautiful sunset in Sydney. I took the picture from the ferry. The trip over I have always changed the lenses back and forth because by the trip again and again different possibilities resulted. My goal was to get the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House on one picture. Have a good start into the new week!

Great Ocean Road Long Exposure, Australia. In 2016, I escaped Melbourne for a few days to cycle along the famous Great Ocean Road. On the first day, I got unlucky with the weather and instead of spending the night in my tent as I had planned to, I arrived soaking wet at a hostel. Luckily, on the second day the rain had stopped and I was able to make some stops on my way to capture the incredible landscape.

The construction of Karnak temple, in Egypt, started 4000 years ago and continued up until the time the Romans took control of Egypt, around 2000 years ago. Karnak is eclectic, since every Egyptian ruler who worked at Karnak left his own mark. Those are the statues of Ramses II as Osiris.
