Sunset over the Nile

Wonderful colorful sunset while traveling up the Nile on cruise ship couple of years ago. Multidimensional composition with Nile at foreground and then coming forest and mountains far away.
Shot with long tele-photo lens compressing the perspective. Just beautiful landscape and great memories

Enjoy the scenery :)

I took this photo of Port Authority's head office in Antwerp, Belgium. It is designed by the famous architect Zaha Hadid, who passed away a few months before the building was completed. The eye-catching glass-covered façade refers to this diamond city and the dynamic and innovative nature of the port. The house under it is an old fire station. What do you think of this combination? :)

What an interesting structure, very unusual.

The gardens of Schönnbrun Palace (at Vienna, Austria) are very beautiful and interesting. In each season they look different, however I especially like the autumn season, when the tree leaves change colors. At this time, these gardens get a special mood, this can be seen in the photo that I today share. Schönnbrun was the summer palace of the Austrian Emperors.

Thank you so much for your submission. Have a great day.

I am coming with another shot of sunrise. This one was taken along the road north of Reykjavik around 9 am. We make a trip straight to the Olafsvík. Enjoy the heavenly fire colors of Iceland.

@kekos I think your image is sublime, Iceland is a great place to visit and the landscape worth being captured.
I think your photo deserve the right to be part of the selection for the winning images of this challenge.

You need to be careful to write 30 to 50 words description about your image to qualify, it would be sad not to be selected ted because aof a few words missing in you comment!

Good luck to you :)

Absolutley agreed and thank you for giving some valuable guidance to your fellow contestants. Have a great day.

You right @vinceboisgard :) Thank you for your remark!

Nyhavn in Copenhagen, Denmark

Lined with just as many bars and restaurants as boats, Nyhavn is a beautiful spot to spend an evening in Copenhagen. In July, I enjoyed my last evening in Europe there before flying to Asia.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

Oh, I love that place. Great to see it entering the challenge.

The picture is from munich. It is the city where I live. From OlympiaTurm you have an incredible view over the city. In the tower is also a restaurant in the top of it which turns. Then you can see the whole city while eating.

What a tremendous shot. Well done!

Glad to hear that!

What a stunning view and a perfect timing to capture this picture! Great shot :)

Thank you so much!

The bleeding horizon

Another stunning sunset from recent shootings at the coast of Baltic Sea, Lithuania. Some unusual piece of wood as perfect foreground. Great cloud formations and wave frozen by a bit of long exposure. And a thin line of bleeding horizon adding much more interest to the final result with a variety of warm and cold colors

Enjoy it!

Tremendous! Looks like a devil's eye, lol.....

The Tower of Sauron is out there... far away :D

I took this picture a few weeks ago on our trip to Säntis in the Swiss Alps. On the right side is the Mount Altmann (2,435 m) where our hiking trail ended. This is the perfect place to go hiking and it's worth a visit if you ever come to Switzerland.

The Durdle Door
This nature's masterpiece locates in Dorset, UK. The famous Durdle Door is part of the UNESCO world heritage sites along with the Jurrasic coast. The beach underneath is pure pebbles, and they are soft as the feathers! A beautiful place with equally fascinating views.
