@axeman African Wednesday entry:

Rich and stunning sunrise colors at Hurghada, Egypt. Morning low waters made visible very nice sand patterns and some stones around, which made the general composition much more interesting. Wide angle lens and low shooting point.

The Rotunda of Mosta (also known as the Mosta Dome), a majestic Roman Catholic parish church in the town of Mosta, Malta. Dedicated to the Assumption of Mary, it was built in the 1860s to neoclassical designs of Giorgio Grognet de Vassé, on the site of an earlier Renaissance church.

What a great entry. Thank you so much for your participation. Tomas

One of those places in Norway which everyone should visit and experience - the way up the mountains called Trollstiegen - south from Åndalsnes in Rauma area. 11 hairpin bends brings us up to 852 m npm. On the top we can stop by visitors center and a steel walkways with great viewpoints on the whole road and the valley - seen on the photo. Next to the road we can see big waterfall Stigfossen by the old, stone bridge. One of those places where we can see real dramatic landscape of beautiful Norway.

Even in the evenings, Venice still has its charms. Just by walking along the canals, you can feel the Venetian vibe as the waves gently laps on the shore and Renaissance Venetian Architectures lighting up in the dark in their full glory. Here is a picture taken along the Grand Canal, looking across to the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore

Like you say, Venice has its charms at all times. I just wish it wasn't that crowded with people. Well, that's the price the popular destinations had to pay for its glory.

That's right, but sometimes the crowd gives it the amazing atmosphere, like during the carnival which is when we went. Surprising it didn't feel that crowdy when everyone just spontaneously broke into a dance off along the streets, or when masked visitors hangs around at St Marks Square at night. A lot of people, but it didn't feel uncomfortable.

Thanks for your support Tomas!

In the streets of the beautiful medieval village of Castelo de Vide (Alentejo region, southern Portugal), there are countless gothic-style doors that remained intact throughout the history of mankind... Walking through the alleys of this village is like returning a few centuries back in time!

Absolutely lovely!

Thanks Tomas! Cheers

This is my entry for today`s challenge. Sunset over capital city of Lithuania - Vilnius. One of the most colorful sunsets I have observed here. Colors like these lasted only for about 5 minutes at the end of golden hour and at very beginning of the blue hour. This is a single image, with no bracketing. Do not forget to enlarge the image and view in fullscreen. Enjoy.

That is a stunning image an view!

Thank You Tomas!

This week’s entry is from Monemvasia. It is called the “Gibraltar of the East” or simply “The Rock”. Beautifully preserved, it invites you for a time-travel through the vaulted alleyways of the medieval Greece. I took this shot right after the moon rose above the sea. A magical time and place to be and to take pictures :)

Fabulous! I love your entry.

Manarola is the second village in Cinque Terre which is my favourite one. I like it because the colourful houses are built on the cliff which is really special and different from Vernazza. This is why all the tourists aim at going to this village especially for those who just have limited travelling time.

I had this place entering the challenge on previous occasions. It looks just stunning. I do have to make my way over there at some point. Tomas

Zagreb Cathedral

The Cathedral of Zagreb is one of Croatias most beautiful buildings. It was constructed in Gothic style and can be seen from most parts of the city. My wide-angle lens enabled me to capture this shot of the cathedral square.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

What a beautiful city Zagreb is. Thank you so much for sharing its beauty with the rest of us. Tomas

About one week ago, this beautiful sunset appeared in front of us when we were having dinner in Mykonos town. Probably the best picture I ever took with my smartphone, enjoy :)

Great job Martin! Thank you for taking part. Have a great day. Tomas

Pretty stormy but colourful sunset at Dutchman's Cup, nearby Klaipeda, Lithuania. Very nice place with some interesting stones at the coast line.
This time was very long nice wave worth to be shot on a bit long exposure. Got lucky the suns appeared just short period before sunset from under the clouds giving a bit of warm contrasting colours to the picture

Enjoy the scenery!
