7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans week #104 – winner announcement!

@jpphotography Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:

Hill Inlet Lookout at Whitsunday Island, Australia. The spectacular hill inlet lookout on Whitehaven beach on Whitsunday Island is visited by many cruises departing from Airlie Beach. That was nothing for me, so when I found out that there is a national park campground at the beach, I took a ferry there, camped for a few days and swam through the Inlet with my camera in a waterproof bag early in the morning before the tourists arrived, taking in the panoramic views by myself.

Beautiful coastal landscape with lush green palm groves and blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean found just outside of Puerto de la Cruz, a picturesque little town located in the northern part of the Tenerife Island, one of seven Canary Islands that belong to Spain.

The view from the mount of Ardeche, France. After a week with my family, we went hiking. The hike was a good opportunity to dodge the heat wave, and enjoy the freshness of the forest.

Hampton Court Palace have been through many hands in its 500 year history, it's most famous owner probably being Henry VIII. The Palace has many rich and valuable features including the south front designed by Christopher Wren, one of the England's finest architect.

I posted about it here as well.

My panorama was created on the Zugspitze. The Zugspitze is 2962 meters high. It is the biggest mountain in Germany. The view from there is beautiful. We went up and down with a cable car. Some people also climbed.

The way to festival of lights in BERLIN!

Every year in October, Berlin becomes brightly lit at night. Landmarks such as the Berlin TV Tower, the Brandenburg Gate or the famous buildings under the Linden get a living shell that offers plenty of free space for creative ideas. The pictures and the short video offer a small impression about Festival of Lights. If you are planning an autumn trip to Berlin in the near future, then the Festival of Lights is the perfect event to get to know Berlin better.

I have also posted the photo in my Marwitt | The WAY of LIFE blog.

The beautiful view from a hill above the Vlacherna church and the "Mouse Island" with another small white-washed church. A moment from my latest photo-trip to Greece and Albania. Luckily for us, there was a preparation for a wedding that day and we saw some of the amazing flowers. If you've heard, Greek people are famous for spending a lot for flowers on weddings ;)

Stay tuned for more, there is a photo-story coming soon ;)

Beautiful Santorini, Greece is the perfect location to escape from all our problems and finally relax. 3 days spent on this island to explore it is enough to make us forget about our over-governed lives.

Last week at the Czech-Austria borderline the moon was wonderfully bright :)
Here it is just being caught ascending - but over one idyllic lake which made the atmosphere fairytale-like and was the reward for finding our way back home after having been lost in the woods for quite some while in the process of searching for mushrooms :)

That's a really pretty shot. Good Job.

Thank You ~ 💕 ~ Yes I think heaven reflected in the water looks always very dreamy :)

City of Colors

Quite a fresh shot taken just couple of days ago from the roof of local hotel with a top view to Klaipeda city. So the Autumn season came and with storms and rain and cold... And this brings a lot more colorful and dramatic sunsets here on Baltic
The deep blue clouds just got a lot of colors at the last few minutes of sunset, which actually happens quite often, turning everything to quite a phantasmagorical presentation

Enjoy the scenery...

Today I'm sharing a photo I took earlier this week from a trip to UK. On a ferry crossing the English Channel, I saw this iconic white cliff of Dover. It was close to the golden sunset hour. In the precious sunny weather, I got to see the South Foreland Lighthouse clearly against the beaufitul sky.
