Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - European Thursday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 Steem!

Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Europe.

See the winner of the last week´s European Thursday @itchyfeetdonica with the following entry:

Here's a drone shot of the stunning Durlaßboden Reservoir and the surrounding mountains in the Austrian Alps. I loved this beautiful region of Tyrol. You can enjoy breathtaking views almost everywhere after some easy hikes or drives, and the water of these alpine lakes is usually crystal clear, so reflections are common sights here.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 Steem in total.

Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #102 - winner announcement!

@karma-panorama Asian Sunday entry:

Walking the Great Wall of China is an experience not to be missed. It is harder than I expected but it was well worth the effort. The path was steeper and more slippery than I thought. Yes you can take an elevator, but I think it takes away from the experience. So instead, I walk one end to the other of the Badaling entrance. A nice day in Beijing.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans week #102 – winner announcement!

@drmincu Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:

The British Atlantic coast is rugged and beautiful. Nestled atop rocky shores are lighthouses which used to guide the sailors of days of old. It has an eerie quiet feeling that probably is unique to this amazing place.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #102 – winner announcement!

@vcclothing African Wednesday entry:

We came across this Boabab tree in the Okavango Delta in Botswana. They also call this tree the upside down tree, as its looks like the roots are in the air and the earth is the foliage. It was a nice spot in the shade.

One of many beautiful statues found in the historic center of Rome. Home to more than 4 million people, Rome is the largest and capital city of Italy and one of the most visited cities in the world. While Roman mythology dates the founding of Rome at around 753 BC, the site has been inhabited for much longer, making it one of the oldest continuously occupied sites in Europe.

This week for me is UK week. Here is another snap from the Portland Bill, of the old lighthouse. I really love the whole beacon of hope significance of the lighthouse, and as I am quite fond of nautical stuff... I tend to over photograph them. Hope you like it!

Oh, I know this place! It looks so different at night... and the milky way... Stunning!

Yes it does look different. Next time I hope I'll catch some mist. I'm pretty sure it will look nice also.

Clock tower at Gjirokaster castle, Albania

Gjirokaster is a beautiful town in Albania where the Ottoman legacy is clearly visible. High above the town the huge castle offers panoramic views on the surrounding valleys and mountains.

Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, UK. Really popular place in Oxford city. This catedral is popular across fans of movies Harry Potter. Scenes from the Harry Potter's dining room were filmed in the cathedral. R&M

The way to the mountain bike round in my Hometown!

Greifwald, my hometown, is also known as a bicycle city. Every corner of the city is wonderful to reach by bike. The picture was taken at sunset on the city river "Ryck". The bike trail on the river is over 20km long and is great as a workout.

I also posted the foto on my Marwitt | The WAY of LIFE blog.

By the end of the day, an amazing warm and colorful sky photographed on the small and remote village of Mina de São Domingos, located in the Southeast of Alentejo region (Southeast Portugal) ...

The sunset on the beach, south of Capbreton, France. The parachutes are using the wind and the lift from the dune to glide endlessly above the beach. It is quite a nice spectacle.

Photo of a columnated corridor in the historical city center of Valladolid (Castile, Spain). This type of architecture is typical of the traditional constructions in Spain. The light was quite interesting while I was taking this photo.

Just taken yesterday in the historic town Weitra of Northern Austria this impression captures the evening mood nicely ~ ⭐️ ~ Already with beginning September twilight comes about one hour earlier and the nights get significantly cooler... but the beauty of nature remains like a magic spell unbroken :)

Looks like a ray of hope, sweet job.

Thank You ~ ✨ ~ I can definitely use all hope that there is around me :)
Plus it was taken at the graveyard so the ˋhope of resurrection´ is certainly a theme here...!...

Grand Pier

Grand Pier is located in Weston-Super-Mare, the UK, on the muddy banks of Bristol Channel. It opened its doors in 1904. Has been on fire - twice! The year 2008 was the last time it happened, and this image was taken two years later.

Today it is open to the public for a 1£ fee. When the tide is far out, the pier appears to stand on sand and sinking mud.

I was scrolling from the bottom upwards when I saw this, and I thought I recognise this!!!!

I hope you do 😁!!!
