Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!

Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @vinceboisgard with the following entry:

Broome is a very interesting place to visit in Australia. Famously known for the dinosaurs footprints that can be seen at low tide, it also is the town of the oldest world open air cinema in operation. Not to forget about it beach on which you can witness unbelievable sunset.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

@axeman Asian Sunday entry:

Abu Dhabi Highlights. Obviously Dubai is much more famous by it's skyscrapers architecture and mighty Burj Khalifa as a flagman. Though Abu Dhabi (actually the most richest Emirate) has a lot enough examples of stunning sky architecture as well. And really looking like some kind of spaceships at the starting place... Shot very close to sunset on a golden hour colors with up perspective giving a lot of vertical dynamics. Enjoy the scenery and the colors!

The majestic peak in the center of the photo is Aoraki or Mt Cook, New Zealand's highest mountain. It soars into the air an impressive 12.000 feet. This picture captures the vastness of the valley surrounded by mountain ranges. I love how the yellow brownish grass contrasts with the blue skies. The empty road finishes the shot.

The beach at Cabarita Beach, at the north of New South Wales, in Australia. I went there searching for surf spots. I couldn't surf that day, but the beach was perfect to chill.

Mt. Wellington overlooking Hobart, Tasmania

Hobart, the capital of Tasmania, is located in a beautiful location: The River Derwent separates the two shores of Hobart and its suburbs before flowing into the Tasman sea and the magnificent Mount Wellington is overlooking the city offering incredible views.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

This is Lake Wakatipu, the longest lake in New Zealand. We drove by it on the way from Te Anau to Queensland. The only thing that stopped us during the drive was the scenic photo stops and the occassional flock of sheep crossing the road.

Brisbane city AKA BOOMTOWN 😊 The city I call home, this shot is taken from South bank looking over the Brisbane River and at the city. The building that is lit up in green and red is our treasuary casino, a place you go to loose all your money haha

I stood at this spot for a couple of hours photographing the changing conditions, as squall lines moved past occasionally pouring down rain on me, watching massive sets of waves role through the channel between Bowen Island and the headland I was on. One of the sets were the biggest waves I have ever seen, easily 30-40ft faces and they made a tremendous noise as they crashed.

Amazing sunset!
