Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!

Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @gunnarheilmann with the following entry:

This Boab Tree is located just a few kilometers from Emma Gorge at El Questro on Gibb River Road in Western Australia. There is no Light Polution at all.
On of the hotest nights i ever spent Light Painting. 39.5° C 2AM - impossible to sleep full on sweaty sleeping on the car in the middle of f-ing nowhere. Anyhow the photo was totally worth it. This Boab Tree was so impressive and also noisy. What you cant see nor hear are all the frogs that were sitting in that tree. So cool. What you see here is a 40sec. exposure and i run with my colored flash lights towards the tree and shine at the ground first then the tree second. If you look closely you can also see my feet. I think it adds some organic texture and makes it more real than just some photoshopped effect. FYI > The huge bright spot next to the tree is not the moon. That is Saturn!

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

@vcclothing Asian Sunday entry:

My view from the hotel balcony at Atlantis on the Palm in Dubai, was the perfect spot to watch the sun set behind our building as we relaxed after a long flight from Africa. After 3 weeks of camping through Africa the Atlantis had the most comfortable bed ever haha.

This is the stunning sunset at Whisky Bay, a peaceful stretch of sheltered beach inside Wilsons Promontory National Park in Victoria, Australia. After we drove to the car park in the heavy rain and walked through a moist gully and sand dunes, we arrived to this amazing secluded beach when the sun came out and started to set. :)

Tjaynera Falls in Litchfield National Park

The Tjaynera Falls at Sandy Creek are among the least visited sights of Litchfield National Park in Northern Territory. The beautiful falls can only be reached by a 4x4 track and a walk, but luckily for me, I was travelling in a ride-share and some amazing people.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

Brisbane city is the place I call home. After a family dinner tonight in the valley, we went for a walk down to the river to admire our famous story bridge and I took this snap. I love how they always light it up different colours each night.
