Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!

Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @vinceboisgard with the following entry:

Night walk around the Darling Harbour, while Sydney city sleeps it is good to walk around the place. Enjoying the calm of the night to rediscover the place shining under bright new light is very peaceful and beautiful. I would definitely recommend spending some time there to anyone.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

@vinceboisgard Asian Sunday entry:

At the ending of the day, when the sun is setting and the sky shine of warm colours comes the best time to get the board out. Bali is a nice place to do so and I always loved sitting on the beach watching the show!

The photography I posted represents dolphins of... Cocos Keeling Islands, which are Autralian Islands in Indian Ocean. A group of them have got used to visit the anchorage several times a week and were happy to pose in front of my camera. I'm sure they have heard about @czechglobalhosts and wanted to be posted for the Australian Monday contest. Done !

Whenever you participate you always bring a world class image! Well done.

Backpacking around Australia somehow imply exploring unknown path leading to remote places. Taking some turn of the road and end up at the end of a dirt road while the sun is setting down only to keep yourself warm around a fire during the night.

Location: Eastern Australian forest.

That must be a great experience. I would love to do that one day.

I wish for you to do it, it is such an unforgettable experience!

Hill Inlet at Whitsunday Island, Queensland

The hill inlet lookout on Whitehaven beach on Whitsunday Island is a popular spot for tour groups day-tripping from Airlie Beach. That was nothing for me, so when I found out that there is a national park campground at the beach I took a ferry there, camped for a few days and swam through the Inlet with my camera in a waterproof bag one morning before the tourists arrived.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

Yep, stunning as always! Well done.

The whitsundays are mind-blowing! The melting of colours happening in this place is fantastic and almost looking like a painting itself. Great capture :)

Froggy Beach in Coolangatta, Australia

This beautiful little Beach is just one of many at the southern Gold Coast in Australia. The turquoise water and the rock formations makes it look really nice. Just behind these Rock formations is the entry point to one of the most famous surfing breaks here in Australia.

Thank you so much for submitting your wonderful image.

The picture was taken in Sydney. Just as we were driving through with the boat under Harbor Bridge. We can see the the bridge with a sunset. I then opted for a recording with the telephoto lens, because I found it beautiful as the bus has cross the bridge.

The Omarama Clay Cliffs are at South Canterbury in New Zeland, about 93km south of Lake Takepo. They are most famous for the tall pinnacles which are made of gravel and silt that were created by the glaciers millions of years ago. The Ciffs are on private land and there's a $5 honesty box at the entrance. Once you go through the entrance, and park your car its a short uphill walk towards the Cliffs. The nearer you get to them, the more fascinating they become.

What a wonderful entry! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us.

You're welcome and so glad you liked it!

A cool and chilled front of a shop on North Stradbroke Island, in Queensland Australia. I'm not sure this shop is still there now. It was giving those nice island-surfer vibes.
