Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!

Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @vcclothing with the following entry:

This was the amazing view I got to wake up to every morning while I was staying in a air bnb in Windwhistle New Zealand. The name was fitting as this place is super windy and the wind whistles through the trees. It is also very cold.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #49 - winner announcement!

@axeman Asian Sunday entry:

Having general bus tourist trip around the Dubai one day, that wasn't really too much time to spend at the observation deck of famous Burj Khalifa, maybe some 30 mins only. And was quite lucky by this time to have a scheduled performance of also famous Burj Khalifa dancing fountains and to see it from very unusual point of view - from almost 500 meters top. So here we have the smiling city warmly welcoming the tourists from all over the world. Enjoy it!

one of the most famous buildings in the world is the opera house in sydney. I was able to capture this picture with my drone at the beginning of August. At the same time, I make a timelapse of this fantastic moment with the canon.

Such an amazing pic and from a different angle then any of the previous entries. Well done.

Thank you so much!! I am very happy about the support!

This Geyser is located in the middle of Te Puia, a Maori Village in Rotorua, and goes off every 3 - 4 hours. We arrived just in time before the Geyser completely died down. The water jet is small, but it was still a picturesque scene especially with the thick clouds coloured by the setting sun.

What a great experience this must have been. Have a good one. Tomas

Nugget Point, New Zealand

The Nugget Point Lighthouse in the Otago region on the South Island isn't as far south as you can go in New Zealand, but it's close. An pretty easy stroll on a very well developed trail will yield some great views - and don't forget to swing by the nearby penguin and seal observatory!

Stunnin! Not much more to say:)

Sydney Skyline

I took this shot of Sydneys Skyline when I first visited this City. We took a Ferry to Watsons Bay from where you got beautiful views on the Skyline. This one was taken from The Gap with the church The Catholic Parish of Our Lady Star of the Sea in front of the Skyline.

Melbourne from St. Kilda

St. Kilda is located South of Melbourne CBD and is a relaxed place set beautifully in the bay. I always enjoyed riding my bike from Melbourne CBD to St. Kilda when I was living in Melbourne.

Maybe not the best picture, but for me a great memory.
Beautiful campsite at the beach. Just the two of us. In the evening we had a barbecue at the beach and after that we went for a skinny dip. What a great time.

Looking down the mountain from the car park at Mt Hutt in New Zealand. After spending a awesome day snowboarding we sat and admired the view before making our way back down the mountain.

That looks just magnificent. Thank you so much for your wonderful entry. Tomas

Cheers Tomas ☺

Ah the South Island of New Zealand

Ah the South Island of New Zealand (NZ). What a beautiful place. Birds are singing, sun is shining and the South Pacific calls to you out below. Here the river flows to the sea and on this peaceful day everything is great to bask in the beauty!

Original photo by @snowyknight which is also posted on my blog.

Yep, a happy place on earth... thank you for sharing your image with all of us.

Hiding in the heart of Melbourne, I shot this colourful street scene of a businessman walking through the the CBD.
The light is soft and beautiful, these glass buildings are a great tool for a photographer and this part of the city a perfect playground to create.

A picture of swamp creek at Moffat Beach, Queensland. I came across this creek during my first week in Australia, when I was travelling around Brisbane trying to find the nearby surf break.
