Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD! Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @vinceboisgard with the following entry:

Right in Sydney's CBD is a harbour named the "Darling Barbour" it is a very nice to visit. You can picnic around the marina and the view over the city is great. I went for a walk ever there during the night and captured Sydney's skyline.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

This "TAREK PUKAT" activity is still attached to traditional Aceh fishermen who catch fish in the sea using "PUKAT" Even this tradition is still active in working by the fishermen in Indonesia in particular. this activity is usually done in the morning and afternoon, and some even do at night. for the Indonesian people, catching fish in this way is an activity that is still a traditional choice.

Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand

Rough coastline with pristine beaches, scenic rocks, caves and bays - this part of NZ is one real gem but also easily accessible. Being outside is one of the major past time activities in this beautiful country deep deep south!

Thank you so much for your entry. What a great place.

The Gunbarrel highway.
Almost 1500 km from West Australia to the middle of Australia. A very rough track, a challenge for four wheel drivers.
The road was completed in 1958. The road recieves little attention from the Australian government and in fact, some sections have not been grade since the original days of construction. That's why the roadconditions can be very bad.
We had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful colors of the outback.

Thank you so much for your participation. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on.

Bird on Rainbow Beach, Queensland

Camping at Rainbow Beach in Queensland was one of the best camping experiences I had in Australia. In the morning, I was greeted by this beautiful sunrise and a bird who happily posed for my photo.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

great shot. rainbow beach is such a beautiful spot!

I loved Rainbow Beach!

Truly stunning image! Well done.

The Great Ocean road really is a nice drive, especially when the sun is out. You can do it in a few days to really enjoy the sceneries.
These are the famous 12 apostles or what left of it! They are slowly disappearing because of the ocean erosion.

Oh yeah, remember my trip along that coast too!

isn't it a great a drive :) , have you seen koalas on the way?

Yes but far up in the trees. Hard to spot though

Watch out for drop bears too!

I just have to make it to Australia one day. For now I am happy to check those beautiful pics from there. Have a great day.

Thank you for the compliment, always a pleasure to hear your feedback.

I definitely recommend going to Australia, especially visiting the western coast which is my favorite part of the country. If you can make it to Australia, try jumping in New Zealand too, it is a very nice place to visit :)

Here's my entry : )

This photo is taken at Elliot Heads, near Bundaberg in Queensland Australia. Elliot Heads is a small coastal town with beautiful clear waters and stunning sandy beaches. This is the inlet where the tide goes in and out to the ocean. It's a really popular area when the tide is in for swimming, fishing and water sports but on low tide it's perfect for a walk to discover it's hidden beauty with lots of marine and aqua life just waiting to be explored.

Thank you so much for your participation. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming later on.

Thank you kindly! : )

Glasshouse Mountains

We were climbing the 253m high Mount Ngungun when visiting the Glasshouse Mountains a few days back. On top of the Mountain I took this beautiful shot of Mount Coonowrin in the front and Mount Beerwah in the back. I can highly recommend to visit this National Park when you´re near.

Some stunning nature, thank you for sharing with all of us here on Steemit. Truly appreciated. Tomas

What better way to experience the Tasmanian wilderness than wild camping on its pristine beaches. This is the beautiful Wineglass Bay, where yachts park in the shimmering Tasman sea alongside dolphins and other wildlife. The only other way to reach this remote area is simply on foot.

In my last visit to Australia, I was able to get a feel of the southern part of Australia. I visited the Glenelg beach in southern Australia with some friends and it was an unforgettable experience filled with extraordinary fun.

What a great sunset! Thank you for your participation.

Yeah. Thank you too for this opportunity.

The incredible Australian Outback, seen from a plane, while we are flying from Alice Springs to Uluru (the Ayes Rock). It's amazing to see the colors, the wide landscape, the dreamlike shapes. What a wonderful place to be.
