Hello fellow Steemians!
Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD! Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.
See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @vinceboisgard with the following entry:
Australia has been a calling for traveling and a mind opener to me. Going wild, exploring the country while living the simple life! Inspirationally exploring the OZ's open road to infinity! A calling for you to explore more.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

Some pristine forest can still be found all over the country, with clear rivers and romantic waterfalls. I recommend to do some camping to be as close to the nature as possible, campground are very basic but usually well-groomed. It's on us to keep it this way!!
Fabulous contribution to the contest. Thank you so much for that. T.
Thank you. Have a great day!
Sadly the glaciers in New Zealand, as anywhere on the planet, are receding. The Franz Josef glacier is no exception. Here's a photo of what's left of it, taken on a gloomy evening. 20 years ago the wall of the glacier would have been right in front of me where I took this photo.
I agree with you, Mount Cook was the same when I went last year. Unfortunately I didn't get to Franz Josef glacier
I like your photography style,@mibreit-photo thanks for sharing.
That is quite a sad part of our advancement. Truly stunning image though.
Right in Sydney's CBD is a harbour named the "Darling Barbour" it is a very nice to visit. You can picnic around the marina and the view over the city is great. I went for a walk ever there during the night and captured Sydney's skyline.
Enjoy :)
Location: Sydney, Australia.
Amazing shot of night secne, @vinceboisgard i hope you are a profetional photographer.
Superb, once again!
Hehe, thanks a lot! It look like Australia is my lucky country :)
To experience Tasmanian remote wilderness, head over to Freycinet National Park on the eastern part of the island. Here you will find secluded bays, white sand beaches, dolphins, wallabies, rocks covered in red moss and abundant birdlife. This picture is of the remote Cooks Beach, accessible only on foot via a circular hiking route. Be prepared with water and supplies though as there is nothing around for hours.
Thank you so much for your today's entry. Your support of the contest is truly appreciated.
Here's my entry...

This is the Port Welshpool Jetty in the Gippsland village of Port Welshpool, a small town with a heavy focus around fishing. The town built a long jetty ( just under 5km's long) for loading and unloading of fish, cattle and timber in 1905. It is the 3rd longest wooden jetty still standing in Australia.
Thank you so much for your contribution and like Wes says, thank you for spreading the word.
Thank you : ) Sharing is caring... happy to help!
This was taken in Mount Cook in New Zealand last year. Like @mibreit-photo photo's below, the glacier is now no more than a shallow river. On one of the resting spots nearby the authorities actually ask you to take a photo from an exact spot and send it to them so they can track the condition of the glacier as time goes by.
Really, what a shame that is. Thank you so much for your entry. Tomas
Thank you so much for your participation.
Thanks!
Buddha's Day in Melbourne
One of my favourite things about Melbourne is the Federation Square where different events are held all year round. One of these events is Buddha's Day, a multicultural festival that offers an insight into the Buddhist religion and culture.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.
Thank you so much for your entry and giving it a mention on your blog. That is truly appreciated. Have a great day. Tomas
You are welcome! I will do this every day from now on since this is the least I can do to support your contest that has helped me so much! And for me, it's an extra post on my blog instead of a resteem that would hide my own content.
Uluru. The sacret place for aboriginals. It was 25 years ago that Uluru was handed back to its aboriginal traditional owners.
Since the park was returned to its owners, more than 7 million people have visited this place. Climbing Uluru was not prohibited, but the owners ask visitors to respect their wish, by not to climb Uluru. Many visitors did not respect their wish.
But climbing Uluru will be banned. The ban begin on october 26, 2019. What a great decision.
It wouldn't be Australia without Uluru. Thank you for your entry!
The beaches get even more spectacular in the winter weather, although you won't get wet these days but just to observe nature take it's course around is just beautiful. Nature is just beautiful to observe.
Hello. Unfortunately your entry does not qualify as there is no location specified. Thank you for your understanding. Tomas
