Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #99 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans
• Wednesday: Africa

• Saturday: South America

See the winner of the last week´s Asian Sunday @pardinus with the following entry:

This is Goreme, in the Capadocia region, Turkey. A village located in a National park, known by its amazing landscape. The rocky formations that can already be seen here in the vicinities, and stretch for miles, seem from another planet!

This type of scene is very frequent in China, or at least some years ago when I went to China. These common bicycles use by ordinary people for the normal transport. The red door with green frames are widely use in the traditional China. I took this photo in Beijing.

Roman Theatre in Jerash, Jordan

The Roman city Gerasa, surrounded my modern Jerash, has two well-preserved Roman theatres. Gerasa is known as "Pompeii of the Middle East" and even though it was not buried by a volcano, it is one of the best preserved Roman sites anywhere in the world.

Somewhere in Angkor, the ancient city that is one of Cambodia's pearls. The amount of different temples and buidlings in these ancient ruins is astonishing. This one was one of my favourites... although impossible to remember the name. :)

This ominous looking feature is part of the incredible apparatus of the Cloud Forest section in the Gardens By The Bay. This huge mountain of hanging garden regulates the atmosphere by giving off mist and providing a place for vegetation to thrive.

Osaka Castle was the largest castle in Japan when it was originally built in the 1580s. Today, it is located in the middle of the city and the observation floor allow us to admire the city from another angle. There is also an interesting museum relating the storing Castle.

The way to the dreambeach on the eastern of SRI LANKA!

Lonely, deserted beaches with palm plantations in the background can be found in eastern Sri Lanka: Pasikuda Beach. The way there has its price. From the airport near Colombo the transfer time is approximately 6 to 7 hours, with public transport even longer.

Nara Park in Japan is where the deer roam free.
Nara Park is home to some amazing temples and shrines, its also home to hundreds of wild deer. These deer have been taught to bow for biscuits that you can buy and feed them. It's a lot of fun 😊

I went on a hike last week in Taiwan, climbing up the mountain through the bamboo forest. I had been climbing non stop for about an hour when I took this photo and was already running out of breath. However, I couldn't resist taking a shot of these flight of steps. They blend in perfectly with nature.PSX_20190811_011834.jpg

Cool shot but you might want to add the location :)

That's a really good point, thanks for the reminder, not sure why I missed it this time, probably coz it's a current photo and not one from a previous trip. Cheers

My entry:
Taken this picture a day before my departure from my hometown Loon, Bohol Philippines. This is a swimming pool near the spring water that supported the 67 baranggay of Loon Bohol. It is also near the sea on the other side. So we can swim in the sea and later on, we can swim in the pool which is the water is from the Spring water reservoir.

Thank you @czechglobalhost

Travel memories from Israel. Shot at the coast of Mediterranean Sea near Old Yaffa, the center of Tel-Aviv. Nice sunny, but not so hot and windy day. Nice place to spend the time nearby the sea, which is actually just after this hill with nice unusual form tree. The bird was just an excellent addition to the composition, which now is telling us the whole story...

Enjoy it!
