Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #67 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

• Monday: Australia and New Zealand
• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans
• Wednesday: Africa

See the winner of the last week´s Asian Sunday @jpphotography with the following entry:

Hoshida Park Suspension Bridge in Osaka, Japan. Hoshida Park in the suburbs of Osaka is a fantastic spot for viewing autumn leaves. It is popular with locals, but little known among tourists. Getting there is quite hard, we ended up hitchhiking the last kilometres, but the amazing suspension bridge (free!) and the beautiful fall foliage colours are certainly worth the trip!

These kinds of altars are quite common throughout China. I took this photo in the rural part of Hong Kong. In all China, the red colour is widely used since it is associated with good attributes. In all altars you see the red colour is the dominant colour there.

Big Buddha in Phuket, Thailand

I´ve been to Phuket this year and visited as many Temples as possible. The Big Buddha right in the middle of the island was one of them and this is a part of the temple.

As a volunteer in elephant rehabilitation centre I was honored to have taken a bath with the most beautiful elephants in park. They had so much fun in the water and looked so happy. From the water they went directly into the mud bath. Location: Elephant rehabilitation center, Chang Mai, Thailand.

Golden Night

Another point of view to the amazing Burj Khalifa - the tallest building in the world, so far... Located in Dubai, UAE. Very special cloudy evening and the tower is so high that lightens nearby clouds good enough to be visible. The fountain at the bottoms brings additional golden feeling to the final view

Enjoy it!

Memories from traveling in India. I've always wanted to go and see the Taj Mahal and so while renewing my Bangladeshi visa in India, I went to Agra to full-fill my ambition. I was stunned by the beauty of this monument... Enjoy.

Wow, amazing photo. Didn't look very crowded!?

Thank you :)

Frankly the day I visited the Taj Mahal was my lucky day! There wasn't much tourist around and there wasn't any restoration work going on. I went there in May which is a very hot time of the year, it might be the reason for not seeing much tourist.

I remember a gardener asking me if I wanted a photo of myself with the Taj Mahal, he made me pose with the finger touch the top of the dome :)

This bridge is one of the "must see" if you go to Ella, a mountain village in Sri Lanka. It's called the nine-arch bridge, and to reach we had to walk through the rails to get there. I was a little aprehensive at first, but the locals told us the trains go more or less slow, so you have time to escape... :) It's well worth the view!

One of many temples found in China. This one is in Beijing. Even if the city is better known for its modern side, it is still possible to find beautiful temples like this one
