This is my entry! A small walk through the desert can serve to clear ideas. Our passage through the desert of Merzouga left us with incredible views, it was the first time we were there and, everything seemed like a movie!
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #75 - winner announcement!
@vcclothing Asian Sunday entry:
My view from the hotel balcony at Atlantis on the Palm in Dubai, was the perfect spot to watch the sun set behind our building as we relaxed after a long flight from Africa. After 3 weeks of camping through Africa the Atlantis had the most comfortable bed ever haha.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #75 - winner announcement!
@itchyfeetdonica Australian Monday entry:
This is the stunning sunset at Whisky Bay, a peaceful stretch of sheltered beach inside Wilsons Promontory National Park in Victoria, Australia. After we drove to the car park in the heavy rain and walked through a moist gully and sand dunes, we arrived to this amazing secluded beach when the sun came out and started to set.
@jpphotography Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:
View on Bay of Islands, New Zealand. Bay of Islands is an area dotted with more than 100 beautiful small islands off the shores of the North Island. Bay of Islands is a popular destination; This photo is from one of the best viewpoints on one of the larger islands, accessible only by boat.

This is the cobra wall, in funeral complex of Djoser of Saqqara, Egypt. These female cobras are a symbol of the monarchy evoking the goddess Ouadjet de Bouto, protector of the North, who embody the protective and destructive power of the pharaoh.
During a boat ride along the Chobe River in Botswana, we came across a pod of hippopotamus swimming across the river. Along the rivers edge were some elephants enjoying the sun. It was amazing to see so many wild animals along the river.

Here as an impression taken on our holiday in Tunisia many years ago ~ 🌺✨ ~
I distantly remember our hotel being designed all in white ~ and a bit more vividly I remember the palm trees the sunsets and the plant world altogether which seemed to have impressed me even more - no matter how lovely our home base was...!....
In this picture it further seems that I sport a tan ~ which normally I just never do and this should also give a good indication of how hot & sunny the climate presented itself indeed :)
