Nice sunset in Aswan, Egypt. Aswan is a cool tourist city on the bank of the Nile. After a day navigating the Nile and exploring Elephantine island, I took a few moments to admire this view in silence.

A laughing Buda, somewhere in Vietnam. I don't recall the location being a tourist attraction... but this was probably the biggest laughing Buda I've seen during my stay in the country!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans week #106 – winner announcement!

@crazy-andy Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:

Ohhh it was about 5 months ago when my computer broke down... I lost all my photographies on it. Thanks God, I have had backup but was not able to get access to it till today. So finally I am able to share my memories through photos with you again, my dear friends. Let's start with Seychelles. Great destination, from which we don't get to see a lot of photos. I always tought that it is too expensive to visit this islands, but when I went there second time, total costs for a weekly vacations for two of us were less than 1.300 EUR! So that beautiful beach below is totally worth it :)

While on a bush walk in the Okavango Delta in Botswana, we came across this herd of Zebra. They were on their way to join forces with a herd of wildebeest for the night. As Zebra have very good eye sight and wildebeest have very good smell, they stick together at night for more chance of surviving through the night.

Africa, my favourite continent.
I love Africa as it is so different. It is closer to the history. Of course development is good and necessary, but when you see nature and how people are still living on Black continent it is impressive. How little they need to be happy compared to our full ass of everything (please excuse the expression.

Place: Jemaa El-Fna, Marrakech, Morocco.

The Jemaa El-Fna square in Marrakech is an explosion of scents and colors, not to mention the chaos of snake charmers and flute and drum players. A very touristic place but you can't help but visit if you arrive in the Moroccan city. During the sunset it is beautiful to observe the square as it turns into an open-air restaurant, maybe sipping a tea from one of the terraces that embrace it.

Ramses II or Ramses the Great, born around -1304 and died around -1213, is the third pharaoh of the XIX Egyptian dynasty where he reigned from -1279 to -1213 (if we count well, it's 66 years!). During this period, he had 200 spouses and 126 children. phew! He built many monuments and had many statues carved in his image like this one in Memphis.

After crossing the Strait of Gibraltar from Europe, I reached the port of Ceuta. It's on the northern shore of Morocco's Mediterranean coast. The beach here was nice and quiet with only a few sunbathers, and the water was crystal clear.
