Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @dimiimp:

This is one of the original 13 city gates in Old Town. Built in 1475. The tower was intended to be an attractive entrance into the city, instead of a defensive tower. The gate was used to store gunpowder in the 17th century, hence the name Powder Tower or Powder Gate. We were part of a walking tour and didn't get a chance to walk inside. I would have liked to have seen inside. Still, a landmark not to be missed.

Some autumn poetry. Last week I visited the Jeseníky Mountains again. The picture captures the view from Lipová - spa in the direction of the spa Jeseník. Spa Jeseník was founded in 1837 by Vinzenz Priessnitz.

That sure represent the mood right now.... Hopefully we will get some fresh snow and and freezing sunshine pretty soon:).....

There is enough snow in Šumava. Today only the sun was missing ;-)

It looks like winter has already taken full control over the Czech Republic and that makes me remember how I captured the beautiful Czech nature awakening after the winter sleep last year. I took this image in a forest in the Moravian - Silesian Region in April 2018.

Bohemian Switzerland is picturesque region in the north-wester Czech Republic. This beautiful house is on the Chřibská street, which is the best place where to stay over night and start trek to the mountains. It is my "hotel" - cool, old, sipmle. I enjoyed a great peaceful weekend there with animals running around.

The Franz Kafka Museum. Museums are different: in some you can look at interesting exhibits, in others you can learn an interesting story. It is easy to attract me with a good chronologically arranged descriptive exposition. The Franz Kafka Museum refers to this type, and so I liked it! It was very interesting to read and listen to the story immersed in the supposed atmosphere of Kafka's personality, his life and work!

Schwarzenberg Palace, Hradcany Square, Prague

The palace is originally a Renaissance building from the mid-16th century. Several of the most important Czech aristocratic families gradually rotated on it. In the 18th century, the palace underwent extensive baroque rebuilding. Another reconstruction after 1871 returned the palace to its Renaissance style.
The National Gallery is currently the owner. There is an exhibition of Renaissance, Mannerist and Baroque art in the Czech lands here.

There are so many great entries to this contest each time. Maybe my photo is not that good but it is mine:)

Weather normally effects my mood. If the weather is grey and cold, I prefer to stay at home hugging the blanket and drinking some hot tea.

Have a good and warm day!
