Prague/Czech Republic - Monday photo challenge - share your personal pictures from your visit to the Czech Republic!
Hello everyone,
Hope you have had a good start of the week. We had a time change here in the Czech Republic on Saturday so days are getting shorter since it gets dark outside very early. It is only 5 PM and it's already dark. This is a first sign of winter being just around the corner. Oh well, I guess more time to spend on steemit and ask for your personal pictures from your travels to Prague or any other location in the Czech Republic. The entries from you for yesterday's challenge were pretty impressive so let's keep the momentum going. I will be upvoting your entries later on as long as you place only personal images and add a short story or description to accompany your image.

Photo of the typical red roofs at the historical centre in Prague. This photo has a sort of geometrical abstract character. It was taken at the top of the hill, where the Castle is.

I think there are almost 30 statues that span the distance of the Charles Bridge in Prague. While I did not take pictures of all of them as I walked the bridge, there were more than a few that really stood out. This is one of them: John the Baptist. It's hard not to notice the bright gold cross, especially in the late day sun.

Jindřišská Tower (Jindřišská věž), the late Gothic tower, built in 1472-1476. It's the highest freestanding bell tower in Prague. It has a height of 65.7 m.

From this perspective, the spiers of the Church of the Virgin Mary before Tyn, located on the Old Town Square, are perfectly visible. In the background, you can see the Zizkov television tower.

The time changed here in the UK, yesterday, too and today was the first day that it felt almost frosty like winter Luckily I have golden leaves like the ones in the photo to look out at.
Yeah, I took out my winter jacket to go the the gym for the first time.... it is certainly coming!
