Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @phortun:
Is not that the most beautiful pharmacy building you have ever seen? :) Well, it surely is to me. This majestic building can be found on the Olomoucka Street in the city of Opava. The pharmacy is a part of the complex of the Silesian Hospital.

ColorChallenge - Purple Sunday - @worldcapture in 7 World's Continents Photo Challenge!
Beautiful flower gardens and parks in front of one of the buildings of the Lednice - Valtice Cultural Landscape Complex. Located in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic, the complex is one of the most famous and visited tourist attractions of the area.
I just love that place and go there almost every year. Great image to feature in today's edition. Have a fab day in sunny Mexico.
Óo ďakujem, Tome :)
Statue of Nicholas Winton with two rescued children. Winton was a British humanitarian who organised the rescue of 669 children, most of them Jewish, from Czechoslovakia on the eve of World War II in an operation later known as the Czech Kindertransport. The statue was installed on the first platform of the Prague Central Train Station in September 2009, on the 70th anniversary of the last Kindertransport to leave the city.
Cesky Krumlov
This is just a picture-perfect place to wander and take photos. It is small and you can cover the whole area in an afternoon and then it is time to sit by the river and enjoy watching the world pass you by.
View at dusk above Prague, photographed from Hanavsky Pavilion, from Letenský park. It's something after 5 pm in the afternoon. There is no night yet and there is not a day yet. The sun just fell.
Perhaps tomorrow Prague will be different again. Under the snow...
Koukám, že kompozice jsou čím dál lepší. Jen tak dál.
Díky. Tohle je moje oblíbené místo.
Petřín lookout tower has been shown in this competition many times. Here is my last catch less than a week back. In the morning, the tower looked impressive.
Perfect perch for people-watching
Make yourself comfortable in the historic center of Cesky Krumlov - grab a seat at one of the many restaurants that line the square, or simply find a bench, and watch the parade of humanity unfold before you. Musicians often perform for tips and applause downtown, and you'll get a good view of visitors from a variety of nations in addition to the many historical sights which beckon you.
Prague Castle
What an experience!
If you can manage to trek and traverse the city, then definitely make your way up to this castle on foot. The views are amazing and the architecture is stunning. Lots to see and do along the way as well.
Sedlec Ossuary
Being in front of thousands of bones and skulls used to create "works of art" creates curiosity but equally disquiet. It is something that in fact has a certain attraction but it should never forget that you have before us the remains of people who have had a life and a story to tell.

A more fairylike impression taken at the Czech village Konárovice like many of my entries ~ this one displays the balustrade of one historic building which has been restored during the recent years... I had the privilege to witness this resurrection of ancient beauty in person ~ ✨ ~
The statues upon this mural however are not originals but duplicates since the former had to be taken inside due to their historic value... but be that is it may: they are not only complementing the overall impression yet also fulfill their duty as hard albeit most welcome backrest when I sit and write on the balustrade as it is my habit :)
Stunning st. Vitus cathedral in Prague
The lines to get into this cathedral wrap around the entire structure however it moves quickly and it’s definitely worth the wait once you get inside. Simply seeing it for the first time leaves you amazed. It is immense and some beautiful stained glass, especially the main rosette. If you travel through Prague you are bound to see it.
